Just got back from a 2 week holiday at Three Corners Fayrouz. Would go back tomorrow. The hotel is fantastic. Very quiet and relaxing which is just what we wanted. There is still to be more added to the hotel which will be good.

Lovely big rooms, very clean. We had a fab view over the ocean, just as we had asked for.

The beach is very nice, lovely sun loungers. Only downside is that you are not able to walk straight into the sea, you will need sea shoes. However you can enter the sea via the jetty to see the reefs.

The staff at the hotel could not do enough for you, very helpful and very friendly. Especially Hamdy at the pool bar!

The restaurant offered a vast variety of food, however it is very continental. Despite this you will always be able to find something that you like. Don't be afraid to ask for more (on the meat etc), once the guys know you like bigger portions they will give them to you.

We got engaged during our holiday, when the hotel management found out they made this very special for us, with a cake and singing and dancing, very authentic!

If you are going with thomson and interested in doing excursions the hamata island hopping is brilliant, amazing snorkelling, virgin islands that are untouched and an overall fab day out.. The camel safari is unmissable. This takes you into a bedouin camp where you share food, singing and dancing, it is truely fantastic.

Overall the holiday was fantastic, we were sad to leave, and ready to plan our next trip to a three corners resort. If it is a relaxing, hot holiday you are looking for this will be perfect.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Fayrouz Plaza and we had a great time. We are a couple 28 and 26 and this is the perfect place to relax. There is not much going on and is a place to chill which is exactely what we wanted with great snorkelling and reefs.

Our review defined as

Location - close to airport. near port gallib - not finished but when it is you wont get 2 weeks for UK500.00 or less.

Accommodation - Very high class, extremely clean. Very impressive modern lobby and rooms were very nice. King size bed, quilts and lots of pillows. Restaurant clean and fantastic views. Panoramic terrace- amazing very relaxing fantastic views.

Beach - Very clean, lovely nice sun longers wooden with leather thick matress. Sea, warm, lovely fish. Beach staff very nice. Towels included and changed each day.

Bars - 3 in total. new hotel so may be more in future. Open till Midnight after Midnight you have to pay for drinks!

Lobby bar - Small and to the LHS of entrance.closes midnight

Pool bar- closes at 7 pm.

All Inclusive - All drinks good, beer what you would expect in Ai. served in glasses and at beach in hard plastic re useabel glasses. Spirits strong. Good variety - no real International brands as Egyptian law says the hotel must be open one year to get a license to serve.
Food - 3 star not 5 star - variety good, our first week the food was poor and we gave the feedback they immediately changed took our comments on board and changed it.
Breakfast 7-10 ,omelettes, eggs, breads, cereals etc... late breakfast coffee croissants main lobby till 11 am.
Lunch - main restaurant lots of variety and beach pizza, hot dogs pasta etc..-1.00-3.00 pm. late lunch 3-6 at beach soup sandwiches and cakes. Ice cream from 1.00 pm all day at beach.
Main dinner - 7.00-10.00pm. Main restaurant - good variety can get sameie as all AI - themed nights for food.Portions can be small in main served FISH and MEAT but can go up as many times as you like or just ask for more. Always have soups, salads, pasta, fruit, breads, deserts etc..

Staff - EXCEPTIONAL - very friendly go out of their way to help you and make your holiday.
Animation do not bother you which is great, so no real pressure for water polo etc..
Animation shows not great but we were not on holidays for the entertainment.
BAr staff very good, friendly and nice.
Restaurant staff - very good service, friendly and nice.
Management - very receptive to feedback, always around and keen to know how you are enjoying your stay. Very visible.
Housekeeping - every day great job.

NOt incuded - any al a carte - Chez Pascal fillet steak great rest of food same as main buffet - meal for two without drinks as we stook to AI drinks £25.00 sterling
Mini bar - UK1.50 a beer ,1.10 soft drinks - really should be included as is 5 star.
Internet- expensive 10.00 euro for 1 hour expires in 24 hours, gave feedback now doing an unlimited package for week.
Massage - fantastic buy 3 get 1 free - 25.00 euro for one hour full body.
Camels - 15.00 per person - 1.5 hours to mport gallib to watch sunset very good, guys who run it are great and its a nice trip. 6.00pm good time to go.

Snorkelling - great - fab to see all types of fish.

Weather - 40's and 30 odd at night. Warm wind. Very tolerable.

all in all we had a great holdiay and would recommend this hotel and destination, for what you pay its well worth the money. The location is not for people who want a mad night life its for relaxing and a chilled holiday.

Just got back from a week at the Three Corners hotel with my friend and had a fantastic time. The hotel was great - very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was situated right on the beach with free parasols and sunbeds, and a lagoon for amazing snorkelling.

The pool was huge and very clean, with the main pool flowing over into a smaller pool below and fantastic views of the beach and sea.

There were three bars - lobby bar, pool bar and beach bar. The pool bar serves until the pool closes at 7, and the other two open till early hours (but drinks only all inclusive until midnight).

There was a small 'animation' (entertainment) team, who put on activities during the day such as water polo, water aerobics and football, and then shows in the evening in a small amphitheatre area.

The food was great - breakfast and dinner served in the main restaurant, and lunch available in both the restaurant and beach bar. Plenty of variety and choice (just not alot of fruit!!)

In terms of location - it is 5 mins from the airport, but nothing else close by.The brochure is misleading as it implies that it is situated next to a marina with shops & restuarants etc. This is actually a 20 min walk away, although the hotel do run a shuttle bus service to it several times a day for £1.50 return. The marina however is still currently being developed - there are several hotels, a TGI Fridays, Pizza Hut, Baskins Robins, 2x Costa Coffee shops and a fabulous Egyptian Bar/Returant, which was very authentic despite being a brand new building!

Overall it was a great holiday destination and suitable for all ages - the only exception would be for young people wanting alot of nightlife/bars/clubs etc. I would highly recommend it for a relaxing, sun drenched week or two!

Firstly: The hotel itself is lovely. Very clean, spacious, nice pool.(which was always quiet) The food was as you would expect it to be. Yes, portions are small, but it is a buffet so you can always go back again if you need to. All Inclusive drinks are not the best and I thought choice was quite limited. They all seem to me very low in alcoholic content. (I am comparing this aspect with other A.I. holidays to Spain etc.)
The bedrooms are clean, spacious and resonably well equipped. Yes, the showers tend to pack in just as you get the shampoo in your hair!
Entertainment at the hotel was truly awful and the worst I have ever experienced. Having said that (for the guys) the Russian girl on the team is absolutely ridiculously good looking! My girlfriend reckoned the two guys (Tunisian) were ok as well! They didn't do anything for me though! I was disappointed with the beach. I found it to be very gritty. The jetty is still not finished, and at the speed they were working may not be for some time. I found the wind to be a pain as the sand was flying around all over the place.

Now on to the bad bits: The hotel is completely mis-represented in the Thomson Brochure(s) It is not, and never will be, on a tree lined promenade lined with bars, cafes and shops. It is situated in an isolated position an hours walk away from Port Ghalib Marina. The Marina itself will be nice when, or more probably if, it is ever finished. At the present time there is very little there. This spoilt the holiday for me. I envisaged an evening stroll along the promenade, having a drink in the different bars etc. Totally wrong. And Thomson must have known this. At night, you are confined to the hotel. If all the facilities, again as described in the Thomson Brochure, were completed, this would not be so bad. However, given the awful entertainment and the fact there is only one bar completed (and no prospect by the look of the lack of preogress of any others being completed) night times were boring. If you want to go on the evening excursions, take your credit card: they are expensive to say the least. I think had I been there for two weeks, I would have been ready for slashing my wrists each evening!

The flight delay of 6 and a half hours on the way home, and the diversion to Venice to change crews unfortunately just capped what had been a disappointing holiday. I know delays cannot be avoided sometimes. However, the lack of communication from the reps. and the way everyone was treated (ie not being picked up from the hotel, reps not telling us about the diversion to Venice, being taken to a hotel over 30 miles away for a meal and then dumped) was totally unnacceptable.

I have written a letter of complaint to Thomson Holidays and await their reply.

In conclusion: If you want a quiet holiday, away from it all with great weather, this could be for you. Don't go for 2 weeks though!
