We went to the Fayrous Plaza for a week in November and had an excellent time relaxing in the sun. This was our first visit to this hotel, although we have stayed in Three Corners Hotels in El Gouna, so knew the type of friendly service to expect from the Three Corners Group and weren't disappointed. Everybody went out their way to make you feel welcome, even the gardeners would give a polite Good Morning.
The accomodation was spotless and our rooms overlooking the beach were excellent. The hotel animation team go out of their way to make your holiday fun, but if you don't want to join in, you are left alone to relax in peace (unlike some other places we have been to).
The food was plentiful and there was never a chance of not finding something you liked. They also laid on different theme nights to try and change the monotony of the buffet and one night provided egyptian entertainment in the restaurant while we ate. We also ate in the Chez Pascal restaurant for an additional charge, which was good value for money.
The bar staff were very friendly and enjoyed banter with their guests whatever language they spoke. After a few days, they would see us coming into the bar area and before we sat down, our drinks were waiting for us.
The hotel has a coral reef, which can be reached from its own jetty. The snorkelling from the end was amazing and the turtle bay, which was a 10 minute walk along the beach also provided excellent snorkelling. Although the hotel was full, there was plenty of space for everybody by the pool and on the beach.
The only disappointment, which is not the fault of the hotel, was Port Ghalib marina. Having been to El Gouna a couple of times, we were expecting the marina to be full of restaurants and entertaining places to visit in the evenings. Port Ghalib however, appears to be mainly residential with little in the way of entertainment.
This did not detract from our enjoyment of the hotel and I would definately recommend the Fayrous Plaza for a relaxing time in the sun, with excellent snorkelling thrown in.

This was our first visit to Egypt and we chose Three Corners because of the good reviews. Especially the snorkling recommendations made us go to this resort and we were indeed not disappointed. This is a super place. Exellent service and great staff. We loved the remote location and the possibility of being yourself if you wanted to. We only went for a week, but intend to go back for a longer period next year in the late autumn.

Went to this hotel in 2009 based on good TA reviews and was not disappointed.it is unusual for us to revisit anywhere twice as its alway nice to try somewhere different! However when this came up with last minute availability we were faced with dilemma of trying somewhere new in Marsa or going back to 3 corners. Based on our previous experience and the fact that it has not only held its position on the ratings table, but has moved up to number 5, we decided to return. We were not disappointed, it is still run to the same high standards, with good food, nice quiet atmosphere, beautiful gardens and brilliant house reef! Would recommend it for anyone wanting relaxing holiday with good snorkelling opportunities. Beautiful corals!loads of varieties of fish, turtles galore and even close encounters with friendly dugong! House reef is quiet extensive in both directions so can be out for a long time exploring different areas, which we enjoy, nothing worse than go up and down in a small area fighting the masses. In fact if you go off the very end of the jetty it is usually very quiet, and your often out there on your own!
Another plus with this hotel, is that there is a good mix of nationalities, no huge groups of Russians,Italians or Germans or Brits for that matter!
We were greeted as returning customers like long lost friends, everyone seemed to know we were repeaters as we were greeted with "welcome home" by majority of staff. Plus on the evening of our arrival there was a knock on our door, which upon opening I found a waiter with a tray, bottle of wine and fruit basket as a gift. Nice touch!

We had a lovely weeks stay at this hotel. The complex is quite big, it took us two days to find our room without making mistakes. The staff are great, and the grounds are kept very clean.
The evening entertainment was ok, mainly family orientated but we enjoyed the shows. The restaurant was very good, and had a big selection of food for all tastes. Our waiter was fab he kept calling my boyfriend Superman, and whenever he saw us either poolside or on the great beach he would shout to us.
The rooms are clean, and I loved the shower room, it was more like a wet room. When we stayed it wasn't overcrowded but there was still plenty of people knocking around. We had a massage here, and they covered us in coconut, I was very embarrassed to have to shower it off along the poolside but it made people laugh, when I looked like a snowman walking to the shower. The massage was lovely though, excellent value for money!!!


I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. We had an excellent time here.
