Just came back this morning and had to write a review this is the best holiday i have ever been on. The accomodation was wonderfull and the staff brilliant always there to help you. Im a fussy eater and even found something to eat each night. Fantastic facilities including pool, swimming, football, volleyball, darts, basketball, tennis and water polo.

The beach was also perfect and very close, with perfect and beautiful views i got some lovely postcard pictures. The grill house was to die for, lovely freshly cooked meat kebabs. A nice relaxing holiday for all, plenty of things to do for all. I went with four of my friends all aged 20-21.

If you go tell the staff Sarah says hello especially to Hassan one of the resturant managers in the main restaurant.

What a fantastic resort. We too were very sceptical after reading the reports, but we had a brilliant holiday. We are a family of 4 (2 boys aged 13 & 16), the rooms, the hotel, and the restaraunts were spotless, the staff were exceptinally freindly and very helpfull.

The hotel have taken note of the feedback about entertainment. The Italians still have their own animation team, but all the other guests now have there own animation team, headed up by Kiko and shiko, who provided entertainment everyday and most evenings if you fancied it. This included water "gymnastics", water polo, volley ball and darts during the day, and Mr and Mrs Dreams Beach, Miss D Beach Mr D Beach and Karaoke to name a few.

The snorkling is out of this world and the hotel provide a small boat to take you to a small cove for even more corals to snorkel around "its another world doen there!!"

The bar by the pool is great and the waiters look after you very well (I'm sure the occasional 20 Egp Pound note helped but it was well worth it), cocktails, beer, coke, sprite brought to you when ever you wanted it!

We enjoyed a perfect holiday from 25th of july until the 9th of august. We were a bit worried because of the very negative ratings in trip advisor. But since our arrival we experienced that a lots of the given arguments were very personal opinions/experiences. Ours were really great !!!!

The hotel is in the middle of the desert (waw!) so there is not a lot of choice concerning evening/night-entertainment, but that is something you know when you book this hotel.

The food was great, given the location and circumstances and most important of all - safe!!! We did not expercience any problems. We were carefull with raw food and we drank plenty of water (freely avaible everywhere in the hotel) to avoid deshydration (keep the beer and very nice cocktails for the evening hours; tip : if you drink a glass containing alcohol, allways drink a glass of water!).
You can choose from the buffet restaurant, the pool barbecue (very nice!!), enjoy a bedouin night at the sisha bar (a must do!!!), have a romantic diner at Noah's ark or visit the Italian restaurant ...

The beach/pools were very nice - for swimming you can choose from nine swimming pools or jump from the jetty in the warm sea. Surveillance was super, caring for clients and corals (please do not walk on the reef). The house reef was superb (tip : do some snorkeling during in the early morning or sunset and maybe you encounter some dolphins - I had three encounters during our two weeks !!!). The corals are in pristine condition and you can spot turtles, eagle rays, barracuda if you venture a bit further from the pier (watch the current though).

The diving station is a bit on the expensive side but you get a perfect service and guidance during perfect dives. Big thumbs up !!!

The hotel is charming and beautiful and the service was just perfect !!! We traveled around the globe a lot and this hotel gave us (and our young children) a great experience and beautiful memories!!!

This hotel definitely deserves better (especially ratings AND a better animaton team!!!).

Overall we had a good time I wouldn't say there was anything wrong with the hotel it was just in my opinion rated too high.
Only one main restaurant, buffet style the food was very repetitive and not a great variety in choice, you need to remember that 75% of the guests at the hotel are Italian so they cater more for them. You get one night at what they call the Italian restaurant what doesn't serve Italian food . You get a six course meal which was excellent and it was a shame.
Animation Team
I was surprised to see there were two teams, 1 for the Italians and 1 for International guests. The Italian team won’t really speak to other nationality guests if they can help it and can be very self centred and rude. But the International team are great, if you are willing to join in the fun then they will help in anyway they can. Momo, Cobra, Angelina are the main 3 but there are another 3 about who you see more at night.
The Italian team seem to run the music system around the pool they only have 3 CD's and you seem to hear the same things everyday.
They work from 10am - 1pm and 4pm until whenever so they all do long hours.
The night entertainment you need to take with a pinch of salt, remember they are not professional but they give it all they have if your expectations aren't high
The pool area is excellent the large pool could fit about 1000 people in. There is also a diving pool that you can swim in which is 10ft deep; there is also a kid’s pool with a water slide and then an additional water slide which is quite a good laugh for something to do.
The beach is very stony, you can't really walk on it without footwear. You can snorkel of the jetty but the sea can get very rough and you need to be a confident swimmer if you go out on a red flag. We didn’t have a green flag for our two-week it was either amber or red the whole time which shows how rough it can be.
We booked this hotel because it had a SCUBA centre. Although Italian all the staff were top always helpful and spoke good English, I dived some amazing sites and enjoyed every dive. the cost worked out at £250 for 10 dives (own gear) which you can do 2 morning or 1 afternoon dives so still leaving time to laze by the pool. Gigi and Alberto were really friendly and even when you weren't diving came around the pool and spoke to you.
We met some really nice people that I hope we keep in touch with, shout out to Mark and Hazel and Dave and family. You made our holiday a real good laugh.
