“Beautiful holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

My favourite place to return again, you can trust these people and love them to help you to have a fantastic holiday. I have just come back from a week ago and had with my family very good relax. I would also like to thank animation team, especially Olga, who was briliant and absolut fantastic. I send greetings all staff, they were super. The molo-bridge is about 740m long and goes out across the coral reef so that you can look at everything in the sea. It is just as beautiful at night and is lit up so that you can see. The water was super and warm. We have no complains with the food, drinks and other things. See you there sometimes.

My favourite place to go. I can trust these people to help me have a fantastic holiday. I have just come back from a fantastic time again with people who make the effort. I would also like to thank Ivana and Valentina for playing dominoes with the old folk and making us smile. Sameh, who is in charge, relies on all of us to tell him if there are any issues so that he can put them right and I know that he will, as I have seen him in action. The jetty is 800m long and goes out across the coral reef so that you can look ateverything. It is just as beautiful at night and is lit up so that you can see. Take a torch with you and shine it on the water and a different life to that of the day time can be seen. The water is lovely and warm too. I was with my husband and it is lovely to be able to spend so much quality time with him and see him unwind. We have no issues with the food. It is hard to cater for all nationalities, but they try and there is always something. Salad and fruit are delicious compared to the rubbish you get in the supermarket. To us who are brainwashed into thinking it must all be perfect - peel it and see! If I have to spend a fortune and put up with the ridiculous time that Thomson have decided to fly out in May to November, I want to know I amgetting a good holiday, and I always do here. I hate leaving. I know my holiday is what I make it, and I also know that I can go to the staff with any problems and know it will all be alright. The older building was being done up whilst we were there and should be opened again this weekend as it is now getting busier so I hope you will all go and look at the fish, see the turtles and relax by the pool and eat the lovely cakes the new pastry chef has been making (on a diet now too!) and enjoy the Tulip Resort. See you there.

Room Tip: They are all good.

We have use returned from a 10 day retreat at the Tulip Inn rested & revived. Previous complaints led me to believe that this was the perfect hotel for us. It was. This is my second all inclusive in Egypt in as many years. I was more than impressed with standards at the Tulip. Rooms are generously sized as are the super king beds. Ours was cleaned daily, towels changed- thank you Ali. The grounds and pool are vey well maintained and cleaned. The staff work extremely hard to keep up the standards. They are warm and friendly- thank you Sideq, Max, Mahmood and all. There is also a wide range of food.
The reef is stunning, there was plenty to see there without day tripping which led us to relax even further- thank you Haytham.
This is a resort book mostly by Dutch & Italian guests. If you want to avoid the English (there were no other English guests) chill out, perhaps try some kite surfing or mainly snorkel or dive the Tulip comes highly recommended. The is an element of entertainment but it is easily avoidable. Night times are quiet so we slept extremely well.
This area is very safe indeed, far away from the tourist traps & politics.
Wherever you decide to stay, please respect the staff. Life in Egypt is hard but they are dignified and good people, take some time to get to know them. Thank you and a small tip will go a long way.
Take Euros if you have some or small denomination notes. Changing up Egyptian currency before you go is unnecessary.

Room Tip: Left side, sea view for sunshine in the morning

Outside is very well maintained. But. At first when we came, they wanted us to stay at rooms over the highway, although we paid full price. Apparently there has been overbooking. They have told us it's just for 2 days. But we ensisted for room on the hotel side. After an hour of arguing and calling our travel agency to help us, they finally agreed to find us a room on this side. It was very frustrating for us, who came for relax. At the time of our stay we talked to some of people which were on the side over the road. They also said that they've told them it was only for 2 days, but they have to stay there for all the time and receptionist didn't wanted them to move after promised 2 days. Except that, food was almost the same for 2 weeks. I personaly didn't liked that the hotel was separated at two sides (new and old) and I think that the long looong pier was very good for loosing some weight :D

Room Tip: If they want you to stay at the other side of road ENSIST for the rooms on pool side.

We just returned from our one week vacation at the Tulip and what we loved the most was the tranquility of the place. The water is clear and the longest dock I've ever seen takes you all the way down to a colorful coral reef full of fish. The beach is reasonably equipped and clean. The staff at the reception is very kind and always available. The rooms are ample and silent.
I personally did not have any bad experience with food since I mostly helped myself with the healthy corner they always set at one side. Though the fruit was far too little in variety, the fish was excellent! At the spa, excellent masseurs, but very little gym.
We also appreciated the fact that the entertainment team and the rest of the staff were never too pushy or annoying with their offers, in fact they were funny and understanding. Nice recreational activities during the day (stretching, latin and belly dance, water gym) not much to do at night. All in all a very good value for money!

I have just come back from there and I must say I had quite a good time. The location is perfect, so near to the airport and with a great coral reef right in front, directly reachable from the hotel beach. Rooms are very comfortable and gardens and swimming pool ok. Food is not so good (a lot but low quality, especially during the excursions). These ones I would reccomend to avoid because expensive and bad organized. As for the service, average level, I would say. Animation team too young and not professionally prepared for the sports they offer (I am a certified yoga teacher and I taught classes for one week on behalf of them without any kind of compensation). Neverthless I must say they are nice, funny, polite and they try to do their best to entertain guest without being too pushy. But as for sports just forget it. Also the Padi licence taken in one week is dangerous and a challenge for your life!In the end, it's a nice place where to spend one week of rest. Don't expect more than this.

Bit late in doing this review, but anyway here goes. Absolutely outstanding as far as everything was concerned. 5 stars for tranquillity and peace. Magical experience. Amazing Coral Reef and location away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I also went to Luxor which was organised by the hotel. If you want total tranquillity then look no further.
