Great hotel, good food, good facilities, lovely staff...couldn't fault anything apart from the immature and incompetent Italian "Animations Team" who were all aged about 20 and having a great paid holiday for themselves.

A fabulous place to relax and do nothing, but be sure thats what you want because there actually is nothing to do, apart from sunbathe and swim.

great hotel with lovely egyptian staff. loads of facilities. was absolutely empty when we went (perhaps 40 people in 400 person hotel), which was great. the entertainment team are the only downside, there are about 50 of them, all italian (its mainly an italian/russian hotel) and they arent too useful. anyway, we had a great time and didnt need entertaining anyway. it can get windy some days. if you could get either the iberotel lamaya or coraya which lie either side of it, then they would be perhaps better choices for the same money.

This is the perfect place to go to relax and have everything done for you. The service and food were great; our hotel was only a year old and was beautiful. The pools were right next to the beach and (apart from the Italian reps) the atmosphere was great. It might be worth finding out what nationality is prevelent in your chosen hotel as this greatly influences the food and entertainment.

I would recommend this holiday to couples and families, but it isn't somewhere to let your hair down. It is a place to relax and unwind and enjoy the reefs. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay but you have to bear in mind there is only desert surrounding you, so don't go expecting to be able to experience Egyptian culture or explore different towns.
If you can accept this then you are set for a lovely break.
