This resort is lovely clean and what you would expect from the Hilton brand.
A couple of things should be noted before you book:
1. There is absolutely nothing for miles around.
2. If you do go passed the compound the beaches are full of litter.
3. The town which is a long taxi ride away is like a ghost town with a few bars and restaurants.
4. There is little water safety or supervision for children on the beach so keep an eye on them as the currents on a couple of days were very strong.
There is no house reef guide/map to view before you go into the water.

We had great time at the Hilton Marsa Alam, from the check in ( upgraded room) till check out( late check out ). I would like to highlight the helpfulness/friendliness of the staff. My girlfriend and I where really impressed. Food wise there are enough options to choose from however additional lunch place would be beneficial. We have tried all restaurants for dinner and received great service in general particularly the Egyptian restaurant was excellent , on the other side service in restaurant by the pool ( not sure what is it called) was disappointing after previous evenings . Sea is a bit far away however shuttle available for those who don't want to walk over there. Pools were great. Our room had great sea/pool view - amazing . Our housekeeper Muhammad was extremely friendly and helpful - please pass our thank you. Entertainment was ok I see room for improvement particularly in the evening . Once again I have to highlight the staff - Nour bar supervisor was amazing at all times please pass thank you !
Over all we had great time last week therefore would definitely recommend to other potential guests.

My brother and me are divers, we love the Red Sea because it is a perfect place to see different types of fish, turtles and colorful corals. My brother chose the Hilton Marsa Alam because it is located on a beautiful beach Abudabab Bay, with clear & warm water, so beautiful, highly recommended.

I also recommend a trip to Elphinestone Reef where you can find sharks, it's a very nice place for good diving. The way to the Reef was on a speedboat, usually it takes 30 minutes. We liked it. You can book the excursion with Olga, a Russian girl who works at the diving center on the Hotel Beach, she is very nice girl and it's always pleasant to talk with her.

Some people complain that the beach is far from the Hotel, but it not true. It is a pleasant walk through the hotel gardens, also the Hotel have a car-train service that brings you to the beach if you don't want to walk 8 minutes.

The first week we have been all the day on the beach, enjoying the beauty nature of the Red Sea , but next 2 weeks we have been doing differents activities with Koki, the best person from the animation team, he makes abolutely everything; dancing, aerobics, aqua-gym, plays water polo, volleyball & also he makes the evening Shows (so difficult, he is a great artist). He is a very nice guy; very cheerful, attentive, a great professional and a great person. Thanks to him that our vacations in Hilton Marsa Alam have been absolutely magical. We love you and we miss you Koki!

In the evenings in Axis Bar the animation staff had organized different show programs and from 22:00 begins the disco. Dj Dida has a great collection of different music to dance and to have a lot of fun.

The hotel rooms are large, very clean with all the amenities of a 5 Star Hotel. Sometimes you can get relaxing on the terrace with a cup of tea or coffee, there is a kettle in each room.

Hotel staff is wonderful, they make the holidays are especially nice. We also strongly recommend testing the cocktails, milk shakes & special coffie that makes our favorite barman Mizo. You can meet him in the pool bar.

Also we liked the food, there is always a very varied dayly menu, or you can go to the one of restaurants "a la carte", they are free of pay but you need a reservation.

From 5 to 7 pm I always went to the Gym, where there are always fresh water and clean towels. There are many sporting activities in the Hotel you can choose from. This is very good,
that complete relaxation can be combined with a different sports or activities. Great!

We really like this Hotel, is perfect for relaxing, get away from the problems, our holidays have been totally wonderful.

Being in Hilton Marsa Alam is like being in a paradise, the only negative emotion was our tears when we had to board the bus and go to the airport.

Thanks to the all animation team and especially Koki for coming to tell goodbye to the hotel door when we had to leave home.

Snorkeling is AMAZING!!!! Never seen before in Egypt.
We always went to Sharm El Sheikh but now, my heart lays in Marsa Alam...

Will go back to my second home in September, no doubt about that!
