this Hotel is the best place in my live... Yummy food nice room beautiful swimming... there are great entertainers Valentina from Italy always has a smile, is very friendly and veryyyy good dances and always has power , Richardo from Italy leads the best AQUA GYM AND STREATCHING He is veryyy happy person, Magda from Poland is nice and friendly always leads super mini disco, darts and the best YOGA, Oksana is the best animator is all the time smilling, helpful, nice and likes all people this is wonderful person...!!! DJ Mido is veryy godd DJ and has cool music, Mondi is crazy animator haha all the time jump, smilling, run, talking witch all people Mondi doing the best fire show on the pool party!!!! I recommend this place!

Everything is very good and on high level: room (room service), food, swimming pools, beach, serive. Coral reef is beautiful, you can see the beautiful variety of fish and sometimes a sea turtle. But the big advantage of this hotel are animators:

OKSANA, RICARDO, MONDY, MAGDALENA and MIDO.

Without THESE people vacation in this hotel would not be interesting. They're still smiling, encourage to play all the time and finally, the fun with them is wonderful exerience!

Listed animators are very big plus of this hotel.

Great holiday.

Flooded by Italians and therefore all entertainment is Italian. Rooms are not too clean, I found hair all over the room and even in the bed that wasn't clearly mine. There was a room safe, but it was not attached to anything and I could easily lift it up and put it in my suitcase. Safe??? Perhaps not so wise to leave valuables in. And the all inclusive buffet is very unhygienic. Be prepared to share the ladles with hundreds of people and they have been in all sorts of food. Try and get salad with a cake-server while somebody else used that to get some rice, fish and chicken. All very unhygienic. The dining tables are not very clean either. Cloths are not renewed so if someone before you spilled food, you'll be in it.
The lazy river contains about 15 cm of water. The pool indeed is very big, but there is no shade, the amount of chemicals doesn't make it comfortable to swim in on extremely warm summer days. And again, the Italian entertainment crew claims the deeper basin for it's fellow countrymen waterpolo games.... all day. I would rate this hotel 3 stars, compared to Western standards. What I did like though, at 11pm all bars at the resort closed. No drunk people shouting throughout the night.

Firstly I would like to apologize that your stay with us was not matching your expectations and thank you for your feedback. Guest feedback is important to the hotel to allow us to further understand where we are performing to an excellent standard and areas we can look to further improve.

All your comments have been shared with the management team and I wanted to take the time to share our feedback.

Firstly regards your feedback about restaurant and buffet hygiene and cleanliness. This point has been raised with our Executive Chef and Food & Beverages Manager. As you rightly highlight each provided buffet dish should have an individual serving utensil. This point will be followed by the restaurant team to ensure this procedure is correctly implemented and controlled to replenish any dirtied serving utensils during the meal operation. I am sorry to read that when attending late dinners you found the table linen was not refreshed on your table. Our restaurant team have been re briefed to ensure all guests are seated at a clean refreshed table as standard.

I have shared your comments regards room cleanliness with our Executive Housekeeper. We have a system in place to ensure all rooms allocated for arriving guests are checked for cleanliness standards by a housekeeping supervisor prior to guest arrival. This procedure will be reviewed by the Executive Housekeeper to ensure all areas of room cleanliness are consistently checked. We currently provide bath mats outside every shower but will take your comments into consideration for housekeeping to ensure shower floors are not slippery and consider how this can be addressed in the future. All our housekeeping team will undergo refresher training on room cleanliness standards with the support of our training department in the coming weeks.

I have looked at your comments regards the animation only provided in Italian. Kindly be advised that there are two animation teams in the hotel. The first animation team is belonging to our Italian tour operator partner exclusively for their guests and therefore is only in the Italian language. The hotel provides an international animation team at our main pool and theater area who provide animation activities and shows in a variety of languages.

I have reviewed your comments regards the lazy river with our recreation manager and we are looking to implement further additional umbrella shades in this area for future guest comfort.

We just came back from a week at the Garopa. Huge complex got lost finding our room a couple of times!! Good food lots of choice inc wine, beer & soft drinks on tap. It was lovely & relaxing but round pool area was a little dirty it wasn't cleaned while we were there where drinks etc get spilt the flies are everywhere. Plenty of sun beds no matter what time you get to the pool although there were the usual towel on bed people & the worst culprits; 'Brits' I wish the hotel would remove when people disappear for over 2 hours!! Overall had nice break not a lot to do here though

This is a decent hotel :)

We came to dive with kids. So, we chose the place mainly, because the dive resort easily picked us up from the hotel every morning and it was close.

The food is plantiful, but is not very refined... much and different style, but ... well, what do you want from "all-inclusive"! :-)

Pools are good an clean. Room service was also good.

Internet - terrible and very terrible. But we are members of Crowne Plaza club and have got it free of charge. That was good! Because I would certainly not pay for such a quality of connection and I would have to pay too much!

Service - good for basic cleaning. But was very slow to fix internet, for example - 1.5h or so and several phone calls.

Towels, drinks, porters, check in/check out - all good.

Since our main activity was diving, we did not spend much time on other activities. But frankly speaking, despite all efforts of the hotel to entertain, there is not much to do at the place and to take the sun, drink juice and do nothing :-)

Great resort which we heartily recommend.
Unique buildings/décor - fantastic pools and beautiful laguna in pretty gardens - large beach - very nice and clean rooms +
Great service from friendly, helpfull staff and hugs for the members of the animation team and the guys from the shisha-balcony ♥

I enjoyed all the activities I participated in while there. And enjoyed the company of those who worked there. Particularly Marco, Kero, Mido and Mundo. They made my stay exciting and the environment comfortable.

If I had the opportunity to visit again Marsa Alan I would stay at Crowne Plaza.
