“Simple and relaxing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

This is no huge structure, packed with fancy attractions, outstanding buildings and fully furnished high-tech rooms. It's simple, almost essential, but very well kept and mantained, despite these hard times for egyptian tourism.
It offers a good access to the reef for snorkelers and divers and some beach, not very wide or impressive. It's perfect for relaxing and enjoying marine life, not advisable for night life lovers.
The food is good and vegetables are fresh, the choice of dishes is rather limited, but still acceptable. Expectations of an exclusive luxury resort will probably be disappointed as those of a gourmet cuisine, but it's perfect for relaxing at the sea.
Wi-fi connection is available, at a cost per hour, in the lobby.

Room Tip: I've felt comfortable in the rooms with number 4000 and further, first floor at the end of the c...

“Diving trip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Hotel typically for the diving group, or people who love pleace and quiet places (I was in mid October)...
Hotel has a beautiful reef to which, unfortunately, is around 500m on the shallow water (there is no pier, which could help).
70% of visitors are Italians, who had his own local crew to take care of the artisitc part, and even a special bracelet, which distinguished them from the rest of the guests. this is definitely the BIG minus

Poor infrastructure for children, there was one playground in full sun.
On the plus side you can save good food (by the standards of the Egyptian), a no crowd on the beach and by the pool ... and the beautiful reef near the hotel.

Room Tip: buliding A is close to swiming pool and to the beach

“Nice hotel with fantastic beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

I have just been there (Aug'12), and I spent there very nice holidays. HOTEL is quite new, very clean, have very nice style and beautiful flora. Hotel is located on the desert, but on the second side of the street you have pharmacy and 2 small shops (drinks, some food, postcards, etc). There are also 2 small SHOPS with souvenirs located on the beach (have smaller prices than shops near the street). You can pay for everything in USD or EUR (but of course seller are rounding local prices) Bottle of water cost 1 USD, Cola 1-2 USD (depends from the shop). 2 postcards with 1 stamp (2+1 it`s a local tradition :) cost 1 USD.
SERVICE in the hotel is very nice and helpful. Everyone can speak English even a little, so there is no problem to ask for something. Everybody are very friendly.
BEACH is a part of the hotel. Sunbeds with umbrellas are available there. You have there also mini bar with soft drinks, and 2 playing fields to volleyball. Entrance to the Sea in shallow - good place to play with children, later you have about 300m of flat surface of reef (water to the knees) - good place for snoorking. Hotel prepared also 'water road' through the reef to deeper sea for divers. If you go about 10min along the beach, you can sight-seeing pier (15 USD).
There was also available SWIMMING POOL in the hotel with different level of depth. Big pool had from 1.00 to 1.30m, small pool (for children) had about 0.30cm. Italian gays had there aqua-aerobic, children can play water-polo. Sunbeds, umbrellas and minibar on place.
FOOD could be more varied :) 2 types of pasta and rice were a standard on every lunch and dinner. Very impressive salad bar, also cooked vegetables. Deserts were very OK. I can recommend red wine (available during lunch and dinners) - was very good. Everything served in very nice way.
TRIPS - I had decided only on one trip "Super Safari" (1pm - 11pm), but in the offer was few nice more (f.ex. sight-seeing of Kair, 2 days trip). I can recommend Safari - it was really nice. First you go by jeeps on the desert, than you visit Bedouins village, have a ride on camels and quads. The evening is finished by night show of fakir and dervish. Really, really nice! (65 USD)
TOURISTS - only Italian and Polish guys, no Russian and German people!
SMALL MINUS - hotel do not organize any animations or evening entertainment. Only Italian animators have organized mini disco for Italian children. On one day (for 8 I have been there) had been organized evening show (dervish, belly dance) but by Italian team.
AIRPORT is located about 45min from the hotel.

I can recommend that place to families or a people who just want to rest.

“realy it's a wonderful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

I spent nearly 7 days last month with my family in this wonderful place - service more than excellent - the rooms are clean and tidy and is characterized by simplicity and stylish- Restaurant is very organized and the food varied and delicious and the quantities Too many - and also the beach's cafeteria offers a wide varaity of drinks throughout the day - the village also has two restaurants, one for Fish and the other is for pizza - beach is fun, but the diving area somewhat distant , the stuff is very helpful and well trained, the weather is very good - location is very close to the airport
Despite all these advantages, the all inclusive cost is very suitable and affordable

“Very close to the beach .. but bad food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2012

*RESTAURANT/FOOD*
- Little selection, poor quality -- probably the worst restaurant ever I've been on the red sea.
- One reason might also have been that only about 35 rooms were occupied out of 150 -- so very few people
- They have some food they put out at the beach bar .. like 4 small squares of focaccia at crazy times
- The crepes are horrible
- All-inclusive is not worth 10EUR for a week
- No diet drinks at the dispenser -- very poor selection of drinks
- They use throw-away cups which is very frustrating environmentally

*BEACH*
- deep enough area just in front of beach (during high tides especially)
- Access to the reef is very hard - 200m walk on a live reef is quite annoying

*GOOD TO KNOW*
- Cheaper shops are at the back of the hotel crossing the road. If you need water, food, beach stuff (snorkels, fins), pharmacy, sim cards, etc.
- Nice "bedouin tent" -- but no prices displayed .. i.e. 2EUR for a cup of tea.
