I have just been there (Aug'12), and I spent there very nice holidays. HOTEL is quite new, very clean, have very nice style and beautiful flora. Hotel is located on the desert, but on the second side of the street you have pharmacy and 2 small shops (drinks, some food, postcards, etc). There are also 2 small SHOPS with souvenirs located on the beach (have smaller prices than shops near the street). You can pay for everything in USD or EUR (but of course seller are rounding local prices) Bottle of water cost 1 USD, Cola 1-2 USD (depends from the shop). 2 postcards with 1 stamp (2+1 it`s a local tradition :) cost 1 USD.
SERVICE in the hotel is very nice and helpful. Everyone can speak English even a little, so there is no problem to ask for something. Everybody are very friendly.
BEACH is a part of the hotel. Sunbeds with umbrellas are available there. You have there also mini bar with soft drinks, and 2 playing fields to volleyball. Entrance to the Sea in shallow - good place to play with children, later you have about 300m of flat surface of reef (water to the knees) - good place for snoorking. Hotel prepared also 'water road' through the reef to deeper sea for divers. If you go about 10min along the beach, you can sight-seeing pier (15 USD).
There was also available SWIMMING POOL in the hotel with different level of depth. Big pool had from 1.00 to 1.30m, small pool (for children) had about 0.30cm. Italian gays had there aqua-aerobic, children can play water-polo. Sunbeds, umbrellas and minibar on place.
FOOD could be more varied :) 2 types of pasta and rice were a standard on every lunch and dinner. Very impressive salad bar, also cooked vegetables. Deserts were very OK. I can recommend red wine (available during lunch and dinners) - was very good. Everything served in very nice way.
TRIPS - I had decided only on one trip "Super Safari" (1pm - 11pm), but in the offer was few nice more (f.ex. sight-seeing of Kair, 2 days trip). I can recommend Safari - it was really nice. First you go by jeeps on the desert, than you visit Bedouins village, have a ride on camels and quads. The evening is finished by night show of fakir and dervish. Really, really nice! (65 USD)
TOURISTS - only Italian and Polish guys, no Russian and German people!
SMALL MINUS - hotel do not organize any animations or evening entertainment. Only Italian animators have organized mini disco for Italian children. On one day (for 8 I have been there) had been organized evening show (dervish, belly dance) but by Italian team.
AIRPORT is located about 45min from the hotel.
I can recommend that place to families or a people who just want to rest.
