“For the advanced diver”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

The staff was very nice, the briefing good although English is their second language, and the diving was out of a rubber zodiac. We had to hold our tanks/BCs between our legs, and where we went was not far, but in 6 ft. seas. It all felt rushed and chaotic, and although there were a million beautiful fish, there was also much current and surge. We only made one dive, and both of us have been diving a few times a year for 14 and 25 years respectively. The other divers did see dolphin and mantas and sharks. The dive shop doesn't have much in the way of equipment; my snorkel broke and there was no place on the island to buy another one, although the Kia Ora hotel swimming pool had them to borrow.

“We love Topdive !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014 via mobile

After we had Diving with Topdive in Fakarava , we thought it couldnt be better. But Tiputa pass is sure something to remember forever. Thank you Manu for taking us so close with the dolphins. And we have never seen som many fish before. Napoleons were giant. Topdive took us out in the morning before the current weren't that strong so we could dive the pass. This was so great. Big thanks from Mia and Thomas.

“Some of the best dives we have ever done.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

Thank you to all the team at Top Dive Rangiroa for taking my husband and I on some of the best dives we have ever done. We stayed at the Kia Ora resort which made diving so easy as Top Dive have a base there. After a breakfast you can walk over to the shop, have your briefing by the dive masters and then be picked up from the resorts jetty and all of your equipment will be set up on the boat for you already. Its very indulgent! Then its just a very quick 5-10min boat ride to the drop off point in the pass and voila!
While all the dive masters were very good we were fortunate to do a lot of dives with Moana - she is the best DM I have ever gone diving with. As well as being very friendly, she is skilled and safe and good fun!
The dives themselves were amazing for the variety and huge numbers of sharks/fish/dolphins/eagle rays. We were lucky enough to be able to interact with the dolphins on our last dive. The sunset dives are a great chance to see the fish reproduction which is quite a sight. The currents in the pass are so strong, it feels as though you are flying. I highly recommend diving the Tiputa Pass with Top Dive - we will definitely be back!

“Rangiroa Always Amazing!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Top Dive Rangiroa is the best dive operator on Rangiroa! Hands Down! My recent trip last month to Rangiroa was a return trip to the atoll for the spectacular diving and to visit the Blue Hole. The dive shop is only a stones throw away from the airport, and about a 5-10 minute ride from my resort at Maitai Rangiroa. Audrey, Nicolas, Francisque, and Claudio were outstanding staff, Divemasters, Guides, and Instructors. They were so kind, friendly, professional, and informative. All dive briefings were very thorough and specific.

Nicolas has the magic touch when it comes to bringing in all the big animals. On the first dive with Nicolas, in the first 10 minutes of the dive a pod of bottlenose dolphins came racing straight to him after he rang his little bell on his BC. Those animals truly know him! They came in for belly rubs and back scratches, and it was truly awesome to see. There were lots of big tuna, sharks, fish in the hundreds of thousands, green sea turtles, large schools of barracuda, etc, etc. So much action to see in Rangiroa! Tiputa Pass is for any adrenaline junkie who wants a thrill ride through the pass. Both passes at Rangiroa are great for some incredible diving. Diving Rangiroa is a dream come true, and taking the day trip out to the Blue Lagoon truly certifies that feeling. What an awesome and amazing creation of nature!!! Overall, the return trip to Rangiroa was simply amazing, and a great trip to lead up to the mind boggling diving that exists in Fakarava.
Top Dive Rangiroa staff will bend over backwards to please everybody, and try their very best to make your diving experience in Rangiroa one that you will never forget. Audrey is the sweetest and most gracious person on the team, who will do anything to make your diving experience simply incredible.
I totally commend Top Dive Rangiroa for making my group feel at home and truly welcomed during our stay in Rangiroa. Kudos to Audrey, Nicolas, and the entire Top Dive Rangiroa staff!
