My Wife & I went to Club Med Bora Bora to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in mid june and found it to be very enjoyable!!! We did not have any trouble with the food & thought it was delicious! we like a firm mattress so the king bed here was just fine with us. The go's were all friendly and helpful. The Activities included snorkeling, windsurfing,sailing& kayaking and were all included! We did not get a chance to see a sunset on this island due to the hotels location but made up for it on Tahiti! We thought it was a little hard to get a hold of an outside activities person due to the fact that the phone in our room was broken.The fire show was fantastic !!! Don't miss it !!! Overall we had a great time and would stay here again.The Island is gorgeous !!! Take A 4x4 trip to see it all !!!

We went to Club Med Bora Bora for nine days on our honeymoon. Comparative to other Club meds it was WELL below standard. If you want to go to Bora Bora without spending $20,000.00 it is a good alternative. However if I had to do over again, i would have spent the extra few thoudand to stay somewhere more updated.
the rooms are VERY outdated, and the shower was only so-so clean. Beds are AWFUL!! I dont want to make it sound unliveable, it was by no means a dump. I suppose just being at other Club Meds I had expected better. The entertainment is comparable to a high school play. The food was great on some days and comparable to McDonalds other days. We ended up spending almost every dinner going out, which in all honesty gave us a better idea of Bora Bora anyhow, but plan on spending more money as it does not end up being all-inclusive.
All in all, Bora Bora is AMAZING and I would go back in a moment, I just wouldn't stay at Club Med unless there was an enormous price difference.

If you plan to get romantic on your honeymoon, the rooms at this clubmed will not inspire you! Our room was basic. The bed was hard and was two single mattresses put together that would move apart as we tossed and turned. The shower made of cement, resembled a shower you would find at a gym, and was mold ridden. The food was good, and the all inclusive package is a great value because everything in French Polynesia is expensive.

Stayed here on our honeymoon. I have been to other club med's in the past, cancun and turks and this one did not live up to the club med name. This place is not run very well. The food was horrible, several people in the village got sick. Staff was not friendly. Whomever runs this place needs to work on employee moral and customer service. To be honest, my experience here will result in not ever going to another club med.
