“Paradise!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

Everything about or stay at the Bora Bora Eden Beach Hotel was awesome! This place was by far the cheapest accommodation that we found in Bora Bora and it was worth every cent! The views are amazing and the food was soooo good! Natalie was amazing with booking us a rental car to explore the main island (a must do, as we got the last available car!) and the boat trip around the lagoon to snorkel with Sharks and Stingrays, with Marona, was one of the most memorable things we have ever done!

Natalie is a wonderful hostess and the chef is exceptional (we did half-board -- the breakfasts, the fish dishes and the extraordinary european type not overly sweet cakes with coconut ice cream were to die for)
the place is very small and quiet. in late June there were 1 or 2 other couples there. the view is wonderful across the lagoon to the mountain. enjoyed kayaking in all directions. went to the heiva dance performance by boat and taxi, which was very exciting. and a day trip on the lagoon with Marie (man's name) that Natalie arranged was great and lots of fun.
the beach there is very shallow and even after walking to end of pier (which provided a great cool place to sit and read and watch the lagoon), you have to walk about 100 yards in the water to swimming depth.
bora bora is extraordinarily expensive and this place was half of what we would have spent at one of the resorts; this was far friendlier.

This was the first of 3 properties we stayed at in Bora Bora.
The Pros:
Franta and Natalie are very nice and try to accommodate any requests.
The scenery is just beautiful, it’s like a postcard.
The water would be perfect if you have small children, very shallow and all sand for a long way out.

The Cons:
This property needs work, the area around the pool is pretty unstable.
The isolation. You are not going anywhere else for lunch or dinner without a very costly water taxi ride (if even possible on cruise ship days) . You can’t walk to any other property either as there is no road.
If total quiet is what you want this is the place.
As others have stated the mosquitos are pretty bad and since there is no air conditioning you will just have to deal with it.

I now have beautiful memories of Bora Bora. Big part of it is because the owners of Eden Beach Hotel made me feel like a VIP and not like a visitor. If you are looking for tranquility, beautiful surrounding and perfect service, this is it..and the food was amazing.

This hotel is halfway affordable. It is at a stunning beach but I guess it would be hard to find a not great spot on Bora Bora. The hotel had great access to water sport and a great bar. Food wa excellent.

We had a great time during our holiday in the Eden Beach Hotel. The new Manager`s are just great and did everything that we realy enjoyed our time in Bora Bora. The Bugalows are just on the white beach with a great view to the main island.

We had the pleasure of staying in Bora Bora Eden beach hotel last week. We are on a trip around the world and so far we stayed in quite a few places but this was by far our favorite. As other reviews said, everything bad you read about this place should be disregarded as there are new owners and they are simply the best. Franta and Natalie will do whatever you will need to make your trip happy and enjoyable, they are extremely friendly and amazing people, they got us the best trip of our lives with sharks and manta rays, we got the best HD video and this all was so cheap that you would never believe you can get these prices on Bora Bora. The place itself is picture from postcards, absolutely stunning view, there was absolutely nothing which would improve our stay there. Having private dinner on their pier was as romantic as it gets, imagine delicious food, full moon, sitting alone in place which seems like its in the middle of Bora Bora lagoon. The food was excellent, different every day and always so good. We suggest that you take either half board or full board package as food can be pretty expensive at Bora Bora island. If you going to Bora Bora and you do not need 5 star hotel, you would be crazy to stay anywhere else than at Eden beach Bora Bora. Even mosquitos were not big deal - for us anyway + if you are sensitive to mosquito bites they have repellents you can use in bungalows. Again the best part are the owners, Franta knows by now half of the island and they are happy to help you with all your needs. We will be most definitely coming back but this time not for week but at least for month :o) Thanks again for everything, we can't wait to come back. David & Andrea.
