My partner and I stayed at Villa Kiydan last year, and apart from 3 days of thunder storms, this was as good as it gets. Onur picks you up and drops you off at the airport so no need to worry about transfers, and once you are at the apartments, he and his family are so friendly and welcoming, straight away you know you are going to enjoy your stay. The apartments are very comfortable with all the necessary accessories, and the gardens are beautiful, with a great pool. It's a short walk in to the town to find some lovely restaurants and bars, one of our favorites is Ali Babas if you can find it. Getting the public boat to the most perfect beach is something you will never tire of, such a great way to get to a beach. All in all Dalyan is a beautiful place to visit and Villa Kiydan a perfect place to stay.

We have had a fabulous fortnight at Villa Kiydan. The new Kursk will be a bonus as the temperature rises. Villa Kiydan is our favourite venue and we have stayed several times now, We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

We had the pleasure of staying (again) from April 21st till May 5th. We were pleased to be able to watch the preparations being made to ready the place for the coming season. There have been a few changes, extra confortable padded chairs in each apartment, bedside lights and Onur has changed the bar area into a Kush with comfortable cushions making it more traditionally Turkish where, in really hot days, you can relax with a beer or a book or just gather round to chat with fellow guests. It was hard to better Villa Kiydan but these small changes have.

Having just returned from a short stay at the beautiful Villain Kiydan ( for us the best place to stay in Dalyan,) We were picked up from the airport by Onur in their new mini bus. ideal as their were five of us, we arrived as usual to a warm welcome from the family. As it was a quiet time of year we were totally spoiled nothing was too much trouble. A lazy relaxing time was had by all. We were pleased to note that Onur had taken on board some suggestions made by other guests last year, for instance they now have nice bedside lamps and comfortable chairs for sitting outside your apartment. Also a nice touch at the poolside they have made a comfortable turkish kosk area where you can relax in the shade with books and board games, im sure it will be most welcome in the hotter months ahead. Cant wait to return again in July.

A group of one and two bedroom villas set around a beautiful swimming pool. Just a short walk along the River you will find many lovely restaurants at reasonable prices. The accommodation is excellent, very practical and clean. Onur and his family are really lovely and will help you any way possible. Onur's boat is moored just down a short lane. The boat was lovely for us as Onur invited us to fish from there, so we did every morning. Onur can arrange any trip for you at reasonable cost. Also you can pick up a river taxi which will take you to Turle Beach or the Mud Baths or wherever you wish to be. When we return to Dalyan, we will certainly stay at Villa Kiydan.

I promised Onur that I'd do this last year and I never got round to it (sorry). Really very impressed by Onur and his family's hospitality. Great apartments, fantastic pool and about 15 mins walk into Dalyan which is a lovely town (although be aware that when it's very hot it's a bit of a killer for young kids to do this). The gardens surrounding the villas are beautiful and the villa itself is kept really clean. This is a truly fantastic place to stay and I'd recommend it to anyone. Mahmut's boat trips are fantastic especially the one to the fresh water lake/mud baths - and if you want the music turned up so you can have a boogie on the boat, Mahmut is happy to oblige. It is a fantastic family run business which I think is what makes it so special. We will definitely go back although probably 1 week to them and another week to somewhere else (just to see something different). Make sure that you go to the locals places to eat in town rather than the touristy places (down by the mosque there are some good places - better food and cheaper).
Only negatives (although these are really very small points only) are that the villas only have air con upstairs and the tv's are small and not sky so if you need to get your kids out of the sun in the afternoon to watch a movie, take that facility with you! Also the beds are pretty uncomfortable but you can ask for more pillows!
