I thought it was about time I shared my experience of this most wonderful place with everyone. I first visited the Aydos Hotel 10 years ago, since then I have returned 9/10 times, why? It is like no other place, a little dollop of paradise, close to Dalyan town still a fairly quiet resort but continues to retain a certain charm and friendliness that other resorts never appear to capture. In all the 10 years I have visited the Aydos Rahmi, the manager, has been able to consistently provide a heart warming welcome without being intrusive and generally speaking the Aydos hasn't changed apart from a complete makeover this year and is now more comfortable - this is a positive comment, when you return you go back to everything you have loved and remembered, the Aydos has a definite charm and appeal that is very unique. From the moment you arrive you will discover the beauty of The Aydos's position on the Dalyan delta with the backdrop of some incredible mountains that are simply captivating and amaze me every time I look at them.
The accomodation is very comfortable, cosy, homely and spotlessly clean and the food at The Aydos ranks amongst the best in Dalyan and Rahmi's gala night is an absolute must -Chef has that spot on! And very good value for money. Breakfast is more than ample but leave space for the delicious dish of the day or turkish pancake at lunchtime. Dalyan town offers many places to eat but do not miss THE FIRAT PIDE RESTAURANT AND RAMAZAN HAN both are the best, you will never be disappointed, family run, friendly and terrific food.
ALL the Staff at the Aydos are long standing employees which are second to none but I must mention Olgun who is the barman extraodinaire - he just has a way with him that is unforgetable!
Aydos Suites, self catering apartments have been completed this year and they are simply luxurious perfect for families, a crowd of friends, couples and anyone - very close to Aydos Hotel so you would be able to eat some meals at the Aydos, partake in the trips Rahmi offers or devise your own and Rahmi will organise a driver, taxi etc., most things are possible.
As much as I want to visit many other places I can't keep myself away from The Aydos and Dalyan they draw me back like a magnet. If you want a stress free relaxed holiday you will NEVER better The Aydos. Everything has a downside - not The Aydos, truly.
All the rooms are exactly the same, however some are nearer reception and some are nearer the bar bu...
