Accommodation, garden and pool all extremely nice. The people very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that we were encouraged to run up an account rather than settling as we went along. There was no prices published or advised or nothing to sign against any purchase. It was all a very casual arrangement but we were told not to worry about it - it would be o.k. and we can draw cash from local cash machines just like at home. For three meals, all very delicious, the price of which again unknown but we were told by other guests checking out before us they paid £40 so we reckoned around £120 for our 3 meals, and a Panini each (2 of us) - the remainder of the bill being for several beers, few bottles of wine, glasses of wine, about 4 rakis, 6 Martini/lemonades and several bottles of mineral water - so you can imagine we were astounded on being told (again no account produced) that we owed a total of 800 turkish lira - about £300 - as much as we had paid for the 10 day bed and breakfast. If the meals were £120 then it means nearly £200 just on drinks. We were out and about every day and 7 out of 10 nights so it wasn't a great deal most evenings, a couple by the pool perhaps but again not that many. Ercan should update people on the status of their account as you go along - we cant believe that this bill was right unless he charges extortionate rates for all his drinks and bar bills. This tarnished what was a fantastic holiday, and I would go back to Dalyan but wherever I stay again - I will be paying for each drink as I buy it. So beware!
