“Definitely worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

We took the dolmus from Dalyan to the beach and decided to go and visit the turtle sanctuary. We were never asked for an entrance fee but left a donation instead. It is only a small affair but none the least very interesting. Inside you will find several tanks with rescued turtles that have suffered from various injuries By the side of each turtle .. was details of their name, age and details of how their injuries occurred. If you have a few spare moments in your holiday ... go and visit .. every little helps. After you have visited the turtles you can either sit at that end of the beach or take the 7km walk to the other end of the beach.

“River trip.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

The delta/estuary is a place that can give you a few surprises especially if you go early morning (before the bulk of river traffic starts. catch a coop boat to the beach (this is the other end of the beach that is reached by bus) it is a nice ride down the river, Birds, fish and turtles can be seen. also lots of tall reeds. You will disembark in the lagoon behind the beach. There are all the amenities here, Cafe, changing rooms, sun beds on the sea side. You can also sit on the lagoon side. you have the option to walk to the bus end of the beach and get the bus back into town, it's about 4.5k (take water and sun protection (wear something on your feet, sand very hot)). I would ask you nicely not to go on any of the trips that include turtle feeding. The sea turtles are migratory and have not been going back out to sea to breed. The river turtles are fed with chicken and it's not good for them. Thanks

“Turtle beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

We hired a boat for ourselves. Try different companies along the water and bater for a good price.
It was good to get a boat for ourselves instead of a public one, six of us for the day was 120 pound including barbecue on the boat ,we also went to turtle beach ,the mud baths. We also got time to swim of the boat, a great day out ,going out at 11.00am coming back at 5.00pm . We all enjoyed it amazing day.

“Lovely trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

A worth while trip. All the scenery is beautiful and we saw lots of wildlife. The visit to the mud baths was fun but very smelly, like taking a bath in rotten eggs but very relaxing. Lunch was included in the trip which was really nice a large selection of food available. Seeing the turtles in the wild was amazing and we saw the famous blue crabs. Visit the turtle sanctuary at the beach the work these guys do is amazing. Keep up the good work.

“another great trip organised by Yesil dalyan tourist firm - great for families”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

Just returned from a wonderful week in Dalyan with my family. The highlight of the week was a fabulous day trip organised by Yesil Dalyan tours. The trip consists of a boat journey down the river to caves where you can snorkel and fish. The boat then moves to a point where you can see turtles swimming in their natural habitat ( they are enticed by crabs ) - its a great photo opportunity. then we moved to a beach where we caught some crabs and we had a great bbq lunch. After a lovely rest we went to a lake where thermal springs rose from the bottom making the water warmer if you dived down. The staff swam to the bottom and got some of the mud which you could put on your body - much better than going to the thermal baths. we then completed the journey back home past the rock tombs and the excellent guide ( Dilaver ) gave us some history behind the tombs and the area. I cannot fault this trip nor the excellent Dilaver. I always use this tour company and have never been disappointed by their trips. I will be back next year
