“Friendly, relaxing and excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

Many improvements have been made to the wonderful hotel, although i wasn't staying at the hotel this year, but i was made very welcome when visiting Volkan, Sebnam and Omagh. As i was staying with a friend Volkan kindly allowed us use of the pool facilities.
We had several meals at the Enjoy bar which is part of the hotel, cooked to top quality standards and come well presented. I will defiantly be visiting again on my next visit to Dalyan.

Many thanks to Sebnem, Omer, Murvet and Belgin for giving us a wonderfully welcoming and enjoyable 8 day holiday. Unfortunately this year Volkan was away on family matters and we didn't see him but the others carried on superbly without him. As said before the rooms are small and simple but cleaned everyday, breakfasts are very good, dinners are excellent - we had 3 meals and the BBQ. Best of all is the atmosphere such a good team provide - relaxed, easy, friendly. We were very surprised to see two of the negative reviews and must say that this has never been our experience. This year we have stayed in Ankara, Kapadokya and Dalyan in varying types of hotel but this is the one with the biggest smile.

Just returned from a fantastic 8 day stay at the Asena. We were made most welcome from the second we arrived untill the taxi picked us up to take us back to the airport. The hotel is absolutely spotless and the staff could not be more helpful. The food at night and at dinner time is of resteraunt quality. The breakfast is a typical turkish one with a differant dish everyday along side the usual turkish fare. There is a great bar in the garden which has been built around a large tree. The Asena is also ideally situated just a 5 minutes stroll into town. To sum it all up the Asena is a beautiful well run spotless friendly hotel. What more could you want.

Just returned from 10 days at the Asena with my friend. This is a lovely little hotel, run by very helpful, happy staff, the rooms are very basic, but the rest of the Motel is lovely. We sampled 3 of Sebnams evening meals, all were very good, and great value for money. Volkan was away, but Sebnem organised a lovely boat trip, which was very nice. We met some lovely people, and experienced some great restaurants, within easy walking distance.
I can't not mention Casper and her beautiful puppies, who I fell in love with.
Lovely place, would be exceptional with a bit of room upgrading, like a proper shower, (not a fan of wet rooms, but that's me).
Would definately recommend.

Having stayed at the Asena recently we were shocked to see the outbreak of negative reviews suddenly appearing which are the exact opposite of our own experience. We share the views of the majority of the reviewers so far, as I’m sure will the majority of the reviewers to come.

We loved the simple, clean, no frills accommodation; the warmth of the people; the quiet pool; the gardens; the bar; Omar’s music; the breakfasts (particularly Belgin’s daily hot dishes and lovely home-made cakes); Mȕrvet’s unceasing smile; the comfy beds and pillows…. the list goes on.

We enjoyed getting to know many of our lovely fellow guests which was made all the easier by the friendly atmosphere at the Asena rubbing off on everyone.

The wild boar night where musicians played traditional music with introductions by Volcan was very enjoyable. The boat trip with on board BBQ arranged by the hotel should not be missed.

We would not hesitate to go back.

My husband and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Asena. What an amazing place! From the moment we arrived Sebnam and Omar couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.

The room was small and basic but there was plenty of space to hang clothes, clean and fresh towels everyday, a hot and powerful shower, and a lovely big bed.

The pool was a good size and clean - and surrounded by stunning views. But admittedly we spent most days at the beach which is a short boat or bus ride away - bliss!

Breakfast was super - there was a good choice and a different hot dish every morning. The chef was lovely and even cooked us breakfast when we got up a bit late and missed it - an absolute star!

The hotel is a very short walk into town - lots of fabulous restaurants. But would also highly recommend the food at the hotel - absolutely delicious.

The bar was the highlight - a great place to meet people and have drinks, there was always a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

On the one occasion it was a bit noisy (at 11pm) Sebnam was fantastic - when my husband told her I was trying to sleep she instantly turned it all down, she couldn’t have been more accommodating, she made sure all her guests were really looked after.

We couldn’t have asked for more. The only mistake we made was booking 10 nights instead of 2 weeks!

We are already saving up to go back next year. Best holiday ever. Thank you to the wonderful team at the Asena!
