We were a group visiting Dalyan again as we have had several trips before but never had a meal at the Panorama restaurant. It is in the main area on the riverside near the boats.and many other restaurants. We stopped to look at the menu but noticed the restaurant was almost empty (we should have known better) but the greeter/waiter promised us lovely fresh food/Turkish dishes/fresh fish and a free bottle of wine as we were a party of 6+.
The food was terrible, I had a Turkish lamb dish that was just horrid, another one of my party had a fish dish in a "birds nest" it was too big and not at all pleasant, others had tough steaks and greasey dishes. They tried to charge us for things we did not order and the free wine. The service was very slow and all the time the greeter/ waiter was trying to hook people in so it slowed down the service even more, but did fill a few more tables. We left the Panorama as quick as we could and did not tip. But a few days later the same greeter/waiter kept approching us back in to the restaurant while we were trying to book a boat trip. Never again..
