“Seek out and you shall be rewarded”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Now I am sitting beside the pool at Central Park pondering just how to word and write this review, to us the Central Cafe and the owner are perfect, we stay in Kudrets and usually eat either lunch or dinner here however we do eat out in Dalyan everyday and we don't feel obliged to eat here however his food is so good and VERY reasonably priced.

Now the reason I am pondering how to word my review is that I don't want to put people off coming or on the other hand making Central Cafe sound so fantastic that you are disappointed when you arrive, I think what I am saying is that here is an honest review.

Is I mentioned kudret is a perfect host and he is also the main cook so please do be patient if ordering food at busy times.
The menu isn't the largest in Dalyan however there is more than enough to satisfy even the most discerning tastes and I can definitely say that his food is cooked freshly and perfectly to order.
I was going to say that you should try a particular dish however again to be honest every dish is honestly excellent and worth trying.

If sumptuous surroundings are more important than good honest fayre and a perfect host then perhaps Central Cafe is not for you, the main restaurant is probably what you could call more homely than plush but really don't let this put you off coming or you will be missing out on a great meal, of course there is always the outdoor seating are that you can sit at.

So for excellent food at very reasonable prices you MUST try Central Cafe.

Oh almost forgot where else in Dalyan do you get a litre bottle of wine for 28 Lira, a bargain.

“hidden gem”

don,t expect any frills ,the emphasis is on the good cooking ,kudret the chef/owner cooks the dishes as you order them ,so be patient , the galic chicken is to die for, can also recommend the casseroles and steaks , the pide is a good starter to share or for a snack. eaten here several times over the last 2yrs and will be going again this year , well worth trying to find this restaurant
as its out of the town centre. if not to busy kudret usually tries to speak to his customers and make them feel welcome. try it you won,t be disappointed and its reasonably priced

“Worth a visit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

we have been meaning to try this place for a while after reading the good reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. It was more basic than we were expecting but that didn't bother us at all as the staff were very friendly and the food was well cooked and reasonable.
We ordered the 'famous' chicken in garlic mushroom sauce and a veggie curry but the menu also had lots of snack type options like jacket potatoes, wraps, hot dogs etc. We tried to go back on our last day for lunch but were disappointed to find it closed with a sign saying it was only open after 1800hrs (this may well be due to the time of year though).
All in all, we would definitely recommend!

“Very nice and inexpensive”

Very nice food and location. Ate there on a few occasions. Only complaint was that on one occasion service was very slow, but who wants to hurry when on holiday anyway so it wasn't a problem!

“Amazing food, great value, friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012 via mobile

Stayed here with family for two weeks and, although we investigated Dalyan thoroughly, the food here was some of the best. From simple but very tasty Turkish cuisine, (I recommend the aubergine salad) to grilled meat and pizza. The pizza gets special mention as the owner has installed a special pizza oven whose chimney can be seen towering above the restaurant.

The owner is also the head chef who trained professionally in Europe before coming home and investing everything he has in creating this great little restaurant and hotel.

Only problem is getting a table because everyone knows how good it is here.
