“The best cake and a relaxing garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

We discovered this cafe and art gallery in July 2011 and it was top of our list to visit this year. To say nothing has changed can be a criticism, for Dalyan Iz this is a compliment, why change what is perfect? Two regrets, we only managed to visit 3 times this year and we never tried a lunch, which looked delicious. Oh well a reason to go back again on our next visit to Dalyan. After a long morning lazing by the pool, or after a walk or cycle ride (there are bike racks provided) this is the perfect place to relax and cool down. A wide range of teas served in sliver teapots, with extra hot water, sugar cubes are clubs, hearts, spades and diamonds, the son claims the strawberry milkshake to be one of the best ever and oh the cake, the cake.

“Cake to die for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Simply the most relaxing and enjoyable little cafe in Dalyan. The food is all home made and of exceptional quality, your only problem will be choosing what to eat. The staff are very friendly. many relaxing hours can be passed in the shade of the big rubber trees. There is also an interesting art gallery and souvenir shop upstairs with some very nice and authentic things.

“Excellent cafe for tea and cake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Loved the atmosphere here, the garden is a lovely shaded place to sit and enjoy your food, a walk around the gallery is well worth the effort, we where soon tempted to buy something as there are some delightful objects.

“IZ-tastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Excellent vegetarian food including homemade cakes served with ice cream. All the food is homemade and the portions are good. Fresh herbal teas are served. Alcohol is not available. The outdoor area is in amongst trees that provide shade on hot days. The house is home to an art gallery were you can buy paintings, prints, ceramics and much more from across Turkey and from all ages of Turkish history. Freddy and Louise (owners) are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you but anything Freddy/Louise will wrap it safely for transit back to the uk.

“Not just cake...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Glad I found the Dalyan Iz where I bought most of my holiday gifts - good quality bits and bobs at reasonable prices and also some really lovely pieces of art.
A lovely garden at the front of the gallery to sit and have your milkshake or cake.
Excellent quality all round.
