“Magical”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Just had a wonderful two weeks at the Riverside, spoilt only by the fact that the staff were a little jaded as it is getting towards the end of the season. We went on a beach barbeque, and my daughter is disabled and in a wheelchair, but the staff were extremely good at getting her on and off the boat and across the sand.
The rooms were quite small and very basic, but we didn't spend that much time in it. We were more than gratefull for the air-con and it was worth £3 a night.
It has a lovely pool that was cleaned every day, but the edges are getting a bit worn and can give you a nasty scratch, I got a couple.
It was our second trip to Dalyan and it was as magical as the first.

Room Tip: If you are a family of three it would be best to book two rooms as they just pushed another bed into...

The first time I have ever been on holiday and not wanted to come home!

Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in! I wouldn't hesitate to book here when I return to Dalyan, I'm not even going to look at any of the other hotels. The rooms are basic but are cleaned daily where they are given new toilet paper and fresh towels, and there is a air conditioning facility available for a small extra charge - I would recommend getting this as its lovely to come back home to a 'fridge' as it will be extremely hot outside. There is also a safe available, which we used once when being away for the entire day on a boat trip but otherwise didn't bother with. The pool is beautiful (as shown in the photographs) and is too cleaned on a daily basis, the water is also tested too. There were no issues with bugs being in the pool (which has been an issue with other hotels). We were never short of a deck chair to lounge on. However there are two hammocks as well as lots of other seating dotted around the hotel should you wish to sit somewhere else. The bar prices and food are the same as other hotels in the area. The food is of a good standard, and there was always plenty to go round at breakfast. The hotel is extremely lush and beautiful during the day with its bounteous fruit trees/bushes and during the night takes on a whole different image when the pool and bar are lit up blue along with several of the trees.

The 'yellow brick road' (which isn't actually yellow) is located at the rear of the hotel, turn left and keep walking down it and you'll be in the main town within ten minutes, with beautiful views along the way.

I really cannot begin to describe how generous, funny, kind, and just plain amazing all of the staff are! Everyone is so friendly and truly make you feel at home. At the end of each day when we came back to our rooms it felt comfortable and relaxed - just like being at your second home for two weeks! One time I was sitting by the pool and a member of staff called me over to sit with a group of the kitchen staff, next thing I know I'm being treated to Turkish tea socialising with everyone - thats how relaxed it is. Moreover I was often called behind the bar and shown how to make my own cocktails - how many hotels would let you do that? Made so many friends and miss them all lots - Alp, Alpheran, Ohmur, Mehmet, Gunay, Taner, and everyone else, I'll definitely be back!!!!

Look no further, book this hotel - I can wholeheartedly say that you won't be disappointed!

I love this place!!!! This was my third trip to the Riverside and it really is 'a little piece of heaven on earth'. The location is perfect, the staff are wonderful and it is as near perfection as one could wish for.
Ok, it's not five star luxury, but the rooms are exactly what is required. Clean, comfortable and fine for sleeping in. The breakfast is great, just tuck in to what you fancy from the Turkish buffet. The pool is excellent though I personally prefer to go to Iztuzu beach as I love the sea breeze.
The staff work SOOOO hard to ensure that guests are looked after - brilliant.

Basic hotel, clean, with excellent air conditioning. Hotel staff all fantastic. Hotel is set in a wonderful location, right on the river, hence the name. All rooms have air conditioning and safes, but you pay extra for these. Single storey, rooms like mini bungalows with verandas, overlooking lovely gardens. Pool is great, although I think there is now too much shade. Sometimes not possible to get sun beds in the sun! 2nd visit and will definitely return again.

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the pool and kitchen if you want a quiet room.

This small but beatiful run hotel is probably the best hotel experience I have had the pleasure of staying at. A big thanks to Alp, Omur, Gunay, Tanner, Alper, Mhemet Ozzie and all the kitchen staff for making our two week stay a simply fantastic family experience. The pool was like a warm bath and stunning in the evenings by the bar. The basic rooms are more than adequate but then you are only sleeping there. I have never felt so relaxed on holiday and will be visiting again with out doubt as soon as is possible. All the staff are freindly and called us by our first names the whole two weeks.
A hidden gem. You could have been anywhere in the world. Simply Paradise. Vince H

Room Tip: It doesnt matter what rooms you choose they are all well located.

You wont regret staying here. Excellent location on the riverside, with a decking area on the river, which you can sit and feed the fish and turtles that pop up at breakfast and evening meal times and only a 10 minuet walk from Dalyan center along the river. :-) Set in lush gardens with banana and mini orange trees, figs and grapes at your fingertips, Mmmmm, you wont regret staying here. The staff were fab. Special mention to Alp, Omer, Mehmet, Gunay and Albere who looked after us like old friends. We stayed half board and enjoyed all our meals and they accommodated my daughter on the one occasion she didn't fancy the set menu with a traditional 'Greek pizza' -cooked in the clay oven. Will definitely be going back, taking the rest of the grown up family with us!
