“Beautiful, friendly, clean :-)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012 via mobile

Was very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel, it is in a beautiful location. We were made to feel so welcome from the minute we got there. The rooms were basic but we had everything we needed in the room, it was very clean & cleaned every day for the 10 days we were there. The hotel has it's own boat & arranges boat trips for it's guests. It's a family run business & they make you feel part of their family. We enjoyed sitting on their jetty eating our breakfast, it really is a beautiful spot. Had the best holiday there & have spoken to them about going back asap. I really recommend this hotel, could not believe what we got for the money. EXCELLENT. Thanku luv Julia & Andy

We went for a last minute holiday with friends last October the hotel is in a fantastic location it's basic but very clean rooms cleaned every day we paid about £60 per couple b&b for the week the staff are very warm and friendly, the weather was very mixed but this didn't spoil our holiday because Dalyan is beautiful rain or shine, our friends who had never been to Turkey before loved it to,This year we have booked a apartment for 2 weeks at the end of June in Dalyan, but no doubt we will try to fit another week in later in the Year and would definitely go back to the Riverside. A good time had by all.

Dalyan has long been a favourite of ours but this is our first stay at the Riverside and we weren't disappointed. As reports say the rooms are basic but they are spotlessly clean and the maids even make a different design with your towels everyday! Breakfast is a good choice buffet and you can eat it down by the Riverside which was best way to start the day. The pool area was excellent as was the pool itself with enough sunloungers to go round and a bar of you needed it. We ate at the hotel twice in our seven night stay (again ate by the river) food was simple but adequate and well priced, if you want choice then go elsewhere. The walk along into town was a lovely stroll. We borrowed a pedal for an hour or so and ventured upriver, you could visit the mud baths if you so wish.
I would recommend this Hotel to anyone that wants a quiet relaxing place with friendly staff and lovely surroundings.
Will certainly go again.

We have been to Dalyan six times, staying in different areas of the village each time. We chose this hotel from having seen it on one of our walks along the river - it looked very picturesque. We booked on our own through Travel Republic website and our link in Dalyan was Yesil Dalyan - rep Salih - we have met him before (the Turkish people always remember you if they have met you) who was very helpful and not pushy. The other rep on site six days a week was with Travel One - Bill - who was also very friendly and helpful even though not our rep. The staff in the hotel were also delightful even though the end of their season and they must have been exhausted with the hours they work.

Some of the complaints we notice generally are about things many Turks don't really see - broken down looking pump in front of room, very unkempt around the edges of property, the finer finishing touches that most British people look at but I do think they need to remember the price they are paying for this hotel. It is basic - for us the rooms were not sufficiently private - soundproofing not good, a little dark inside, need curtains or blinds that you can open and close easily - but that is why we usually have an apartment. The bar also needed to be manned better as we seemed to be looking for a member of staff more often than not - probably did my liver a lot of good. We only ate once in the evening and it was average - no complaints - but with so many good restaurants just ten minutes walk away we did not feel the need to repeat it. Everything else can not be faulted. The position is excellent, rooms cleaned thoroughly every day by friendly lovely women, all the staff as friendly and helpful as you could want and a menagerie of delightful animals - the only pushy creatures being the cats. Value for money excellent. We have given an overall rating of 4 bearing in mind what we paid - if you are looking for luxury then perhaps not for you.

Room Tip: Rooms on staff side were noisier and outlook not so pretty. We were in 401 which although small dou...
