We stopped for only a night at Ida Costa since we were on a road trip with a tight schedule. We enjoyed our stay so much that it was disappointing not to be able to stay longer.
Everything about the hotel was spectacular. The service, the landscape, the cleanliness, etc. They have done a very good job with the rooms. Rooms are very spacious and private. All details are thought out, for example, on each room's patio there were drying racks for swim suits. Also the architecture is in harmony with the nature. The area is still very untouched and you appreciate the fact that they decided not to build a monstrous building in the middle of the nature.
The afternoon we arrived, we sat at the pier on the sun loungers. Because we went early in the season there weren't that many hotel guests, so we had the whole pier to ourselves which was nice. The water is very clean, you can see small fishes from the pier. They have also removed rocks and other things around the pier, so it's sandy at the bottom.
Overall it's very peaceful and relaxing hotel. The area adds to this as well. I recommend driving around to see the archeological sites, spend at least an afternoon at the small but very charming marina area. Go for trekking in Mount Ida, and check out the little villages around there. Although the hotel is isolated (which makes it a perfect getaway) there are things to do in the area for tourists.
