I and my husband went to Beyaz Club in the end of August which was perfect for the air&water temprature. We really enjoyed our stay. Well, this kind of accomodation is not for those who look for hotel comfort. Still, it's a lot better than sleeping in a tent because you have a proper bed inside. The bay has a beautiful seaside- crystal clear water and small stones which don't require plastic shoes for swimming. It was really amazing to hear the wind through olive trees at night. The fabric is thick enough so your tent doesn't get the wind or cold inside but it's still nice and airy for a good sleep. Oh, keep in mind, if you look for some entertainment in the evening or a vibrant place to walk around- Kadırga Bay is not for you! This place is prefect for a lazy holiday. It's what we finally managed- lots of reading, swimming and resting...
There are many camping places in the bay. Obviously Beyaz is the nicest one with the restaurant area. Even the beach is more comfortable just in front of Beyaz. Because other camp places have too many deck chairs&umbrellas on the seaside. At some point the rest of the beach was packed but our area was specious as Beyaz have quite limited numbers of umbrellas and stuff.
There are only a few points that could be improved in this lovely place. First, the staff weren't smiling at all!! Although I tried to make some conversations with our waitress (because I had done a waitress job before and I know what it means to friendly customers) she was not so keen!! Even the owner/manager wasn't so enthusiastic to chat with us. Maybe chatting is not essential but smiling should definetely be improved!! Secondly, the food was good quality, nice and fresh. But the main course portions were a bit small. Also if you want to get some of their yummy homemade pasties and cakes that they prepare for the afternoon, you have to ask for the price before picking up 3 or 4. After finding out the price you get maximum 2 :) One more thing, toilets which are common were just OK (not amazingly cared). Of course it's beacuse of people staying there but I think they were not checked out often during the day. On the whole, it is good value because you don't pay for the umbrella on the beach (they charge people who don't stay there overnight) and breakfasts and dinners are included.
We made a day trip to Assos village and the castle. It was good to see there but we felt very lucky to be staying in Kadırga Bay as there is no beach area in Assos. (there are only piers where you can jump in the sea..)
I really want to go back to Beyaz one day. It also could be a great fun with a few friends.
only in square tents, you can stand up :)
