“Must do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Go here first thing in the morning or last thing in the afternoon before all the coaches arrive.
Travel up by cable car to see the most amazing views over the coastline.
Look for the large ice-cream cones on the floor in the café - bit of fun!
Bit pricey but was definitely worth it.

“Quite magical”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

The Lycian / Roman ruins are set either side of a river. Many building are in relatively good condition and you can certainly get an idea of the extent, scale and importance of this ancient port. Much of it is still overgrown, but this only adds to a sense of romanticism - perhaps bringing to mind Shelley's cautionary 'Ozymandias' poem about the temporary nature of life - and our flase sense of permanence.

“"From sea to sky"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

As they say, it's highest mnt in the Mediterranean seashore. 2360 mts. Beutiful veiw. All that you needed for having a nice adventure - you got to be sure that weather is clean and cloudless. 10 mitutes for go up. Only 4 towers, it's looks like flight. In the top your can find cafe, binoculars, photographers, souvenirs. Also you can try a paraglide in tandem. 45 minutes for fly. There is not so cold in top. About 15-16 degree, no nessesary to have a warm clothe.

“Amazing ancient site”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Well worth the walk along the beach and to wander among the ruins. Best to go early in the day or evening if you want to take photographs and avoid the heat of the day

“Great day on Tahtali Dag”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Walked up from Beycik following Lycian Way way marking. This was generally reliable apart from a missing one at an early point at around 1080m where nothing indicated an important right fork. We followed the instructions in the Sunflower guide which was a bit pessimistic in implying there was no way marking from the saddle at 1800m to the summit at 2365m. There was. Estimated time of 5.30h for the ascent was accurate and it was great to be able to rest in the cafe on the summit and then take the cable car down. But note the cable car does not return to Beycik so you need to arrange a pick up at the lower station.
