“Enchanting escape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Firstly, part of the reason that this property has so few reviews is that it's classified as "specialty lodging in Ulupinar". It should be under "hotels or B&Bs in Cirali", as it is in the same vicinity as all the others. If you're looking to be transported to an unspoiled paradise with towering rock cliffs covered in pine forest, an uncrowded (pebbly) beach, lime, orange and pomegranate orchards, and chill beach restaurants serving fresh fish, then Cirali is a perfect location to lose yourself in Turkey. Villa Lukka offers the opportunity to enjoy all of the above while staying in a new, spotless bungalow with modern furnishings and attention to detail, down to the dual showerheads, satellite TV, orchids, reliable A/C, and beautifully landscaped gardens. The owner is very hospitable, and we enjoyed a very memorable & delicious dinner at her restaurant under a full moon (and no mosquitos!). A highlight of my trip to Turkey!

I agree with the others on the accommodation. However, the restaurant at the beach where the breakfast is served (Karakus its name) is bad. The food is so-so, but the staff is really arrogant and inattentive.
Same in the evening. We had dinner there only once, never again. It seems that they don't really want to deal with guests or be waiters but wait for a higher calling or to be discovered. Sorry, you chose the wrong job if you regard paying guests as just a nuisance.
Try the restaurants in the main street, such as yoeruek cafe - much friendlier and better value for money!

We happened upon these bungalows and they turned out to be more than bungalows! there are seriously beautifully decorated inside with all the mod-cons... mini bar, safe, air con, tv, double beds, sitting area, tea coffee machine, TWO person shower - all brand new and really lovely. The owner was such a friendly accommodating lady. They showed us to their restaurant, about 200 meters away, RIGHT on the beach. It was probably the best restaurant on the strip of beach. We loved it! a big fire right in the middle of the inside part to stay toasty - great food.. we tried a turkish pizza and a plate of mezzes. I had an awesome mojito there too! The breakfast was a little bit better than the usual turkish breakfast we'd been getting everywhere - it has a skillet of pepperoni, and hot, scrambled eggs plus all the other usual goods.
We have already recommended Villa Lukka and will continue to do so. A great find!!

Room Tip: I think that all the villas are equally nice.

We had our honeymoon in Villa Lukka. The amazement started from the moment we step in the garden, a beautiful and peaceful place, that made us feel like home. The room was very comfy, and the hosts are the best hosts I have ever seen in such a hotel!
The food was so tasty, we didn't even think of eating somewhere else! Thanks for everything!
We will for sure visit Villa Lukka soon!!

First of all, i love the village, the people are so friendly!
Villa Lukka is a wonderful place to stay there alone or for families! You wake up and see the wonderful landscape and the mountains in front of you.
The apartments are clean and comfortable, the kids are absolutely welcome there and love it.
The air condition and the apartments are very new and you have a bedroom and a seperate bathroom. In front of the apartment you have your own sitting area.

If you need any help or have any question the staff helps you every time, they are all so friendly and absolutely sweet with the kids they can play and run in the garden and it make yourself at home :-)

You go only 4 -5 minutes to the beach and sometimes you meet some chickens on the way, its so cool for the kids.

The restaurante is directly on the beach an you have a perfect ambience when you are eating. The foods are very delicious and the service at the restaurante are absolutely great!

We have a wonderful holiday there and come back as soon as possible.

We felt like we were staying in paradise here! To wake up to such a beautiful view every morning was amazing. The garden felt like we were in the garden of eden and only a short stroll to the beach. The rooms were perfect bedroom, bathroom and small sitting area, we stayed in the honeymoon sweet. I loved that the villa's were spaced out so you had your own privacy. We had our own hammock under a tree to laze about in each afternoon. Breakfast is at their restaurant on the beach it was delicious and lots of food and great service. We are definately coming back!

I was a bit sceptical at this hotel. The rooms are individual "garden houses", I have one of those to park the mower...
I was afraid that it will be too hot in them but not at all, they have good isolation and great air conditioning.

Nicely decorated although not what you would expect in Turkey, actually more of an Ikea look e.g. Insidethe walls are pinewood, white furniture.

Outside a great garden and the mountains and not a single noise. The rooms could havebeen a tad bigger but where pretty good. When we were in Cirali it was rather hot so we did not use the garden, by cooler weather I would have spent all day there relaxing.

The hotel is owned by a restaurant in front of the beach where you have breakfast. Not the best restaurant in Cirali. One day they served us bread from the day before! Other days it was good enough (some fruit, borek, bread, ham, eggs and fried tyrkish hot sausage).

Because of the very hit weather I missed a pool but then it may not be as calm as it is now.

Definitively come here in spring!

An interesting option is hotel Canada where we had stayed before, they have half board and the food is fantastic. We didn't stay there because they were full but we managed to have dinner there most days, finally not a bad combination.
