“Loved Sa Pa & This Hotel!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Sa Pa in mid March, 2014. We read and were also told by staff that this hotel had recently changed hands and that they were still new to the business and learning the ropes so to speak. You would never know it by the way we were treated. They run a top notch business and we really enjoyed ourselves. The location with beautiful views when unobstructed by clouds was fantastic. Our room was very clean and cozy. The staff very helpful and attentive. They organized our treks into nearby villages. The only thing they couldn't organize was a cloudless day on our trekking day but that would have been expecting too much even from them. The breakfasts were very good and the hotel also runs an excellent nearby restaurant which we used. The competition for hotels in Sa Pa is likely quite fierce from the number of them in town. I can say that we spoke to quite a few other travellors during our 3 months in Vietnam who also stayed at the Same Pa Lodge and all had the same wonderful experience we did which is why we stayed here. There is something to be said for consistency. One more thing. Our tour guide was a young Hamong woman named "A" or that is what she told us. She was the best. We had plently of laughs and a real good day with her. She says she calls herself "Blah Blah Blah" because she talks a lot but her stories are sweet and interesting. We felt so fortunate to spend some time with her. Our lucky day to meet her even if it was for such a brief time. All in all I really recommend this hotel and when trekking get on the "A" list.

As most trip to Sapa start with an overnight trip on the train and you usually arrive to early to check in, your day excursion will take you away before you can check-in. |The staff was very good at providing secure storage for luggages and allowed us t shower before our room was ready.

the morning breakfast was included and the buffet selection and side menu was provide

Great staff

We stayed in this hotel for one night during our trip in Sapa and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very welcoming and supportive and did everything to make our stay perfect. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the view from the breakfast room was just amazing. We definetely recommend this hotel and would book it again.

My stay here became the most fond memory of my trip to Vietnam this time. The only drawbacks I experienced during my 2 nights stay were a 30 minute power outage and one time of cold shower, when the hotel was fully occupied. I reckon these physical aspects will be improved/solved over time, also by cooperation of the hotel guest as well. This hotel is new and basically run by a family except a few, but eveyone who works there is hard-working and always greeted me whenever they saw me. Arrangement of optional tours were promptly and efficiently done by a receptionist. Will definitely stay here again, if I'm given another opportunity to visit.

Room Tip: They gave me #502 on the top floor, a spacy twin bedded room with a balcony. Superb view! (Well, the...

Stayed on the very bottom floor of this Hotel in March. Room was excellent & very quiet. Recommend the back rooms of the hotel with view. Our bags were carried down the stairs for us on arrival. All the staff were very friendly. There was one young lady in particular who is studying. No matter what came at her, this lady was always there to greet you with a smile & help in anyway she could.
I still found that for the price you pay for accommodation that the breakfast was more than fine.
The young lad to was good.
Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed here end of January / February for 1 week during the TET holidays. We have been traveling already for 3 months, and this was hands down the best hotel yet, and at a very reasonable price. Wonderful room, fantastic shower, and very friendly staff. We had a small incident with laundry and it was immediately resolved, and we were simply at home here. Breakfast buffet is not so great, but there are plenty of places nearby to go to. Would 100% go back! Wish there were more hotels like this at this price in other SE Asia countries!
