“A great place to stay in Sapa.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Sapa Lodge hotel

We stayed here whilst visiting Sapa and found it be a very clean, very well run hotel with excellent staff, efficient and friendly. Our room was beautifully appointed and we had amazing views of Sapa mountains and the valley. The breakfast was terrific and there were plenty of choices. If you are coming to Sapa this hotel would be a great option,if for nothing else the views are incredible !

Room Tip: Choose a room with view from the second floor

We moved from another hotel to this one and was very pleased..

Pros: Deluxe rooms have some of the best views of the Sapa hill scape

Very good value for money, we got it off Bookings.com

Buffet breaky was inc

Cons; Fairly new setup so some of the finer points haven't been tweaked yet. But there getting

This hotel is fairly new with great location right in the town. The view is spectacular. The price is very reasonable. Ask for the room with mountain view because some room has town view and some has mountain view. The breakfast is decent. What i like the most is this hotel water flow is great, after some trekking to take great shower. For this price, the hotel provides air condition which might not need in some months but it is great to have it after long day. Staff at the front desk very helpful. Thank you for the nice stay.

Room Tip: Request room with mountain view

Corner room #501 overlooks perhaps the most beautiful view in the entire of Vietnam, extending far into the valley below and soaring high above to the top of the mountain range across. Watching the clouds rolling over the mountain and coming into the room was a pure delight.

Service can improve a bit, but for the price and view it's well worth it.

Room Tip: Anything on the corner (I'm guessing it would be #401, #501 and #601)

New hotel (approx December 2012) with excellent mountain views. Very clean & well decorated room. Had a corner room with a large balcony. Double bed & single bed were excellent value @ 35$ including breakfast for 2 adults & a child. The hotel was a good find after we escaped from Sapa View Hotel. The very large room could be improved if it had a safe & tea/coffee making facilities. We booked a trip to Bac Ha with a driver/guide through the hotel @ an expensive 100$. It was a bit disappointing as the large vehicle promised turned out to be a rather small Kia & the guide was no more than than a "mate" of the manager with very little good guide qualities.

Room Tip: Room 201 was a large corner room with excellent mountain views. It also had lovely wooden windows th...

the room was good. we ordered the deluxe room and it was good. nice shower, nice a/c, nice views. the staff is nice, although it's weird that they play games on the computers when they are bored...
last thing - staff should not smoke in the lobby. i know in Asia it is common, but if they want foreign tourists to come - stop the smoking.

We moved to Sapa Lodge after one night elsewhere. Viewed the room and moved straight in. No early charge. The room was spacious and clean. The staff friendly. The view from the room was amazing. Breakfast was included in the room price. Good WiFi connection throughout the hotel. The bed was firm (seemed to be a foam mattress) with a nice size bathroom. All in all it was the perfect place to stay.
