“Spectacular view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

Corner room #501 overlooks perhaps the most beautiful view in the entire of Vietnam, extending far into the valley below and soaring high above to the top of the mountain range across. Watching the clouds rolling over the mountain and coming into the room was a pure delight.

Service can improve a bit, but for the price and view it's well worth it.

Room Tip: Anything on the corner (I'm guessing it would be #401, #501 and #601)

New hotel (approx December 2012) with excellent mountain views. Very clean & well decorated room. Had a corner room with a large balcony. Double bed & single bed were excellent value @ 35$ including breakfast for 2 adults & a child. The hotel was a good find after we escaped from Sapa View Hotel. The very large room could be improved if it had a safe & tea/coffee making facilities. We booked a trip to Bac Ha with a driver/guide through the hotel @ an expensive 100$. It was a bit disappointing as the large vehicle promised turned out to be a rather small Kia & the guide was no more than than a "mate" of the manager with very little good guide qualities.

Room Tip: Room 201 was a large corner room with excellent mountain views. It also had lovely wooden windows th...

the room was good. we ordered the deluxe room and it was good. nice shower, nice a/c, nice views. the staff is nice, although it's weird that they play games on the computers when they are bored...
last thing - staff should not smoke in the lobby. i know in Asia it is common, but if they want foreign tourists to come - stop the smoking.

We moved to Sapa Lodge after one night elsewhere. Viewed the room and moved straight in. No early charge. The room was spacious and clean. The staff friendly. The view from the room was amazing. Breakfast was included in the room price. Good WiFi connection throughout the hotel. The bed was firm (seemed to be a foam mattress) with a nice size bathroom. All in all it was the perfect place to stay.

Had a lovely two nights here, stayed in two others previously which we're horrible. The views were amazing the rooms spotless and comfortable... Cleanest bathroom I've seen in Southeast Asia ! Good buffet breakfast included. In quiet season you can negotiate price a bit! We almost didn't go in because it looked so nice ( out of our budget) but were amazed rooms were between $25-$35 usd! Will definately stay again if in sapa.

I found sapa lodge after checking out early from a horrible hotel nearby. There seem to be a lot in sapa !

I viewed a room at 8.30am and had the key by 9am. No charge for early check-in.

The staff are very nice, the room was perfect, excellent standard and immaculately clean. Comfy bed, nice bathroom, hotel is only 6 months old so everything is new.

The view from any of the rooms is amazing, the best I have seen in my 2 visits to sapa, I have stayed at many different places and this hotel really surprised me.

Breakfast is included and has either a buffet or a menu with a full page of options. The view from the restaurant is perfect.

The majority of other hotels have views that first look onto the road and other buildings before you see the mountains, sapa lodge looks straight onto a green valley and mountains .

Excellent value

I stayed here in March and highly recommend this hotel. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help me. The room was lovely and clean and smelled fresh (which isn't always the case in Sapa), plus the view from my room was amazing. There is a buffet breakfast included and there is really good WiFi plus a couple of desktop computers for guests to use. It is in the middle of all the shops and restaurants but manages to be nice and quiet; it is also very close to the starting points for many treks. The price for the rooms is very competitive - I checked out at least 8 hotels in the Sapa area in this price range and higher and Sapa Lodge had the best rooms.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with mountain views.
