The hotel restaurant and bar is also very special. Wooden Architecture and local ethnic fabrics are used for decoration, but to bring you closer to the community phuong.Nhan longtime friendly and enthusiastic

Had the family room for 4 of us and slept like babies! Really like the room we had and the decor. Great location just out of the main scene. View was obscured by fog but looked like it would have been great. Breakfast was not the buffet but cook to order and good. Great staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and let us use a separate room to shower after our trek and before bus to Lao Cai for train. Would stay here again no question.

First of all this hotel is in a great location at the end of town, but just a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops etc. The View from our hotel window (once the mist cleared) was fantastic. In fact, a good portion of the outer wall was a huge window.

The room was large and very clean and modern. It had all the normal amenities such as a safe, mini bar and fridge etc. However, the TV was very small (not really a problem for us) and no English channels. Also, the reception was very poor. While we had a phone in the room, it was not turned on. The room had a fireplace which made it cozy, but a hassle to light. I believe its purpose was for heating since there wasn't any other source. They did have electric blankets which were definitely used because even in March, it was cold. There were only a few outlets in the room, and I had to pull some light cords to charge our camera batteries. The shower had plenty of hot water but the shower head in our bathroom was hard to adjust. Finally, the towels were paper thin.

Breakfast was a set menu, but with several options and actually quite good. Also, the service at breakfast was very good, but a bit slow since everything had to be made to order.

I will also agree with other comments about the use of English. Yeah, I know it is their country, but they cater to a western clientele and there should be someone there who can at least speak adequate English. Not a big deal since we got by and overall the staff was very friendly.

There was a computer in the downstairs lobby for guest use, but it took some effort to get the staff to understand I wanted to use it.

Room Tip: Don't go in the winter.

The Sapa View Hotel is a very nice place to stay.
Nice location not far from the center but not in a noisy area.
Nice view when the weather is good.

We stayed there 4 nights and the room was one of the best (maybe the best) we had during our travel in Asia.
Comfortable bed, heating blanket, fireplace, nice bathroom, good breakfast...

The staff is very nice, especially Sho who did everything to make us feel at home :)

The e-mail service was really good and we got all excited about our stay in Sapa. Turned out no one spoke English on site (the emails are answered by one lady (Ms. Dung) from a travel agency. The room had a great view (if not for the fog, but that is obviously not thir falt), and was quite ok, until you get to the bathroom, which was dirty and full of hair from other guests... The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in all other rooms on the floor. The service... well the tried... but without English it's not much use, if you want to get directions, recommendations or to but train tickets. Ms. Dung can do all that, but she is never there, and rather money than customer oriented.

The location of this hotel is 5 Min walk away from the busy center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, mainly wooden style with a fire pit. We used the fire pit every day, because it was very cold every night (Travel was in Jan) and the bed had a blanket heater which was quite useful. Our main goal was trekking and the area is amazing.

Room Tip: The Mountain View Rooms are very nice.

The location is perfect just outside the town of Sapa the hotel is quiet and the view is perfect.
We has a family room and it was big and nicely decorated, it was January so was really cold and we got to the hotel after the train ride from Hanoi, they kindly check us in early with out charge and start a fire in the fireplace we got to have a nice hot shower. It was wonderful.
The staff are really kind and friendly.
At night after our return we find a nice warm room to await for us with a very nice fire going in the fireplace, and the beds has electrical blankets that made our stay really comfortable.
We stayed only one night,.
Breakfast was a la carte, cooked when u order it.

Room Tip: If u are traveling with a family the family room is fantastic With a great view
