“A return visit - I enjoyed it so much the first time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2011

We came back because we had such a great time two years earlier. The gardens are now well established and the staff even more accommodating and polished. The surrounding amenities have expanded - there are more restaurants and bars within walking distance and a spa being built as part of the facilities.

Located in the picturesque Canguu countryside, just a short drive to Seminyak/Legian Temin Desa Villas offer accommodation for a memorable stay. The charming and friendly staff provided wonderful meals and it was difficult to move away from the private swimming pool to explore the surrounds. In the evenings it was a short walk to the local beach and the beachside restaurants.
The bedrooms were roomy and spotlessly clean and a highlight were the sunny outdoor bathrooms.
I cannot wait for another holiday there.

Our family trip to Bali turned out to be a wonderful experience largely due to the place we stayed “Villa Tiga”. It all began from the time we landed in Bali and being greeted by our driver with a big smile. On our drive we saw the most amazing breath taking scenery. Once we got to our Villa Tiga we were greeted by our wonderful staff Wayan and Komang who welcomed us with cold refreshing drinks. The family was blown away as we walked into our villa. The villa is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful & you can tell how much care & love was put into creating a perfect holiday house! We felt welcome, safe & bathed in luxury! The attention to detail was great.

Our staff were warm and friendly and they went out of there way to keep my kids happy (a 3 year old and a 1 year old). Wayan and Komang made amazing food and every request we made was met. The experience here begins the moment you walk into your villa, but the service staff was amazing. They knew us each by name! It was everything you would expect in a vacation. Oh, and did I mention that all the cleaning, washing and laundry is done by the staff. Also you have the added bonus of having massages in your own Villa.

While venturing out of Villa Tiga we had the most fantastic driver Gede who took us everywhere. He knew where to go and how to get there without any problems. Hana the manager checked up on us everyday too see that everyone was happy. Villa Tiga had the most amazing service and we enjoyed every moment of that special luxury.
Words cannot fully express the most amazing experience ever! You have to experience it for yourself! We are definitely going back!

I can't believe I didn't review this place...so here goes!
As a Perth resident, I had fairly rigid ideas of what Bali can be, mainly based on the nightmare which is Kuta. Villa Satu at Teman Desa has completely opened my eyes to the 'real' Bali. From the smiling greeting with a cold water and a very comfortable minivan at the airport (thanks Dewi!), to the exquisite and charming villa we were taken too, the experience at Teman Desa was amazing.
Yes, it is isolated, but that's what makes it amazing. Take a walk through the paddy fields and small, quaint village down to the wild and remote beach and meet some of the smiling locals- no touts here! Then cool off at home in the deluxe private pool...the beach restaurants, although limited, are good fun too.
The boys (Made and Agung) who took care of our villa were fantastic, so eager to please and fantastic cooks! We would order our days food every morning, the boys would shop for us and come back with receipts (ludicrously cheap meals for 4 people) and then start prepping up. Nothing was too much trouble. We had requested a duck curry one day and the market was out, so the manager (Andy) called around his friends and family until he found one! Not sure if it gave up its life specifically for our dinner!
The drive we took with Dewi over to Uluwatu was amazing. He is very amusing, speaks great English and knows heaps about all aspect of Balinese life- a real character.
I must stress as well, how important we felt it to tip all of the guys on our departure. They all truly went above and beyond what we had expected from them and it was never done with any trace of expectation.
A truly fabulous experience.

We went there with 6 adults and 2 babies, it's a wonderful place to getaway. The only hiccup is, it is very far and very quiet at night. And there's only 1 or 2 security at night, and there was a night where we can't find our security when we needed some help. So,it's a bit scary. But overall, it's a really nice place to just stay in, and make sure you are equip or supply yourself with lots of snacks, food, fruits, drinks from the K-mart before you go into this place. Because K-mart is far from the place. If you needed a transport out, you need to pay, its not within walking distance to K-mart/ cold storage. For breakfast, lunch & dinner, you can stay in the hotel, coz they have someone to cook for you, you just have to pay the ingredients. Just be more aware of the distance to places and get your snacks / drinks supply enough to the hotel. Service in the hotel, the maids are not there all the time. So, it's not very convenient I would say. But it's good enough for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed in Canggu because the wedding we were attending was close by. The villas are excellently maintained and the staff are lovely people. We were spoilt rotten and they couldn't do enough for us. Hannah (australian) the manager helped us whenever we needed something and was wonderful to deal with. We hired the villa car for 2 days (excellent price) as the villas are quite isolated. After getting lost in a taxi the first night it was the best decision we made. I would recommend these villas to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in Bali away from the hussle of Kuta etc.

Villa Satu is one of the best we've had the pleasure to stay in.

The level of comfort is great - equal to most five star hotels; cable TV, large comfortable beds, fantastic bathrooms, private pool, ambient music, quiet location and great service.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff; two who were exclusively assigned to all our needs from early morning to after dinner. They looked after all the food, drinks, cleaning, ironing, et cetera - I could easily get used to this level of service!

The villa was immaculately clean and the private gardens look great (there are dedicated gardeners). A surfing beach was a short ten minute walk from the villa. All other beaches and shopping areas are easily accessable using the on-call drivers.

A great place to escape to and for better value than other villas on the island.
