Our party of four booked the Chalet for four nights. The building sits away from the owner's home and has a fantastic view of the mountains. There is one other establishment nearby, but it was located through some trees so the Chalet was very private. There is one bedroom upstairs that has two queen beds and a full bathroom. The other bedroom is off the kitchen and has one queen bed. The second bathroom is also off the kitchen area and includes a washer and dryer. The full kitchen is large and came equipt with everything you could possibly need to fix meals. It was also stocked with various food items including fresh milk, orange juice, bread, bacon and eggs. There is a dining table and a comfortable seating area which includes a television, VCR/DVD player and a incredible view. Outside is a patio with furniture and a barbecue grill which we unfortunately could not enjoy because of the mosquitos. (Keep in mind that the Chalet does sit in the woods so mosquitos can be an issue depending on time of year)
We chose Rose Ridge because we wanted a central location from which we could explore north of Anchorage. It provided us with that and a beautiful peaceful roomy comfortable place to stay.
(I cannot comment about the B& B rooms since the Chalet sits apart from the house)
