“Was definitely a disappointment”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2011

Over an hour to get a salad, a burger, fish and chips. And then the burger was over done and the fries were cold. Overpriced, slow and the food wasn't even good. Should have gone to McDonald's.

“Sad service, ameture chef night - on Mothers Day!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2011

Don't expect to be greeted and shown to your table...first time patrons might not know the ropes and don't expect your waitress to provide any assitance...when you order a dinner salad with your meal...help yourself to the salad bar - the waitress wont tell you to. Ordered crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, very dry and I'm not sure there was even any crab in them, and floating in a tub of melted butter -no sauce, just butter. Entree was the seafood pasta, with a choice of white or red sauce - sound good right. Sadly the seafood was still in it's shell! Who in their right mind wants to sit in a restaurant full of people digging through sauce covered noodles to crack open their crab! Give me a break! The noodles by the way, spaghetti (not fettucini) and the "white sauce" would have been much better served over some warm country bisquits and eaten for breakfast! Save your time and money, you'ld be better off buying a frozen bag of Bertolli dinner for two and cooking it yourself.

“Don't Waste Your Time”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2010

Went on a week night, not very busy (less than 10 people). It took over an hour and a half for the food to be served. During the entire time waiting, the waitress came by once. She was having a bad attitude day, rude and inattentive. When the food finally arrived, my wife's Prime Rib sub was cold, as if it was taken from the fridge and put on a bun. My calzone was not cooked all the way, with the center of the dough still raw. I live in North Pole. That was my first and last visit to the Elf's Den.

“Foods Okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2010

I wasn't very impressed with the food for the price. There are other places I like better. They're also supposed to be opened for breakfast during the summer; however, it's a hit or miss. So call first to make sure.
