.This is was the 2nd coffee house we have visited on Kodiak, so far. The drinks were pretty good, I got a Russian Tea, very tasty <beware you'll have an orange mouth for a little bit, my husband had a good laugh!> and my husband got a Coffee. We also got a smoked salmon breakfast quiche that was pretty good. The baristas even brought our food and drinks to us! They were very nice. We will visit there again. Also stop in the bookstore next to it if you have time, there is a nice little section for kids books if you need.

its refreshing to read the review below... i worked at Mill Bay last summer, i'm from NY and the 'chef' was a friend of my fathers...his pastry work is fantastic and so is the coffee. However, he and his wife have terrible people skills especially when dealing with employees. "Chef' would frequently lose his temper with us in front of customers, over menial dilemmas. Making their experience less then pleasant, i would imagine.

Love the coffee but is not very nice and relaxing when your heard the chef yelling at the baristas in the front...

If you're out driving around and in need of some great coffee, check into this place! It's a quaint, coffee shop that serves delicious pastries and light lunch. Definately a place to hang out with the local folk!!

They sell their coffee here too! Great for souveniers!

Located in the same complex as the gas station.
