“Well worth the time and effert to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2014

Dolly's was near the end of Creek Street a boardwalk with large creek, gift shops ,etc. and normally a crowd of people however since it was early in the season and a slight mist we were mostly alone. We really enjoyed talking to the young lady who gave us the history of the house and Dolly. It was a treat to see the house as it must have been in Dolly's days-original furniture-the married men's escape stairs and the path from the back of the house to another part of the boardwalk. so they could escape.

“A Little "RED LIGHT" House from Long ago”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

Some may find fault with this, but it is also part of history. It is an old house, but the girls and the the furnishings make it interesting. I loved the little walk way that went to Dolly's House and on to several other small shops. They are all raised on stilts and next to the creek. Very pretty area. The entrance price of $10.00 may seem a little high but you make that decision. I enjoyed it.

“A fun expeience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

It's funky and hokey like much of the town. Expensive? Yes but given the short duration of the tourist season it is not exorbitant.

“Not that great”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

The girls are lots of fun to talk to outside, but the inside is just another old house. We were hoping for a guided tour, but you just walked through on your own.

“Dolly's house is a step into another world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

The $10 is pricey for the incredibly short tour but the history and details are worth it. Dolly bequeathed her home to be a museum so everything is still intact. This "hidden history" of how the town started is incredibly intriguing. Dolly was a a woman larger than life and to see how she lived was worth the steep price.
