“Nice walk and views!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

We took a walk here after our cruise ship docked. Nice walk along the creek with many shops. There is a salmon ladder in the creek that you can also see.

“Another brothel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Creek street was the red light district of ketchikan with a house left which you can tour for $5 per head, there are only a few rooms so it doesn't take long. An initial guide talks to you in the gentlemans parlour then you walk through with televisions giving you information. There are a lot of genuine articles and photos of Dolly in the house which makes it better.

“Creek Stret”

Great atmosphere and very historic buildings, great to see a city look after their history. The salmon run from end of May and is a great sight watching the from the red bridge at Creek Street.

“Fun piece of history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

We walked through the Creek Street district on our way back from the Totem Heritage Museum and it is a really interesting and cute little shopping area. There are a lot of cool historical plaques that add to the overall experience. An especially interesting fact about the area is that one of Creek Street's most outspoken Madam's was a black woman named Annie Watkins. According to her plaque, she wrote elegant letters to the editor in response to efforts to end prostitution on Creek Street. Definitely worth a visit when in Ketchikan.

“Nice walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

We walked to see the salmon ladder and if you keep following the path you will end up either at or close to Creek Street. There are lots of cute little shops and the whole area is very photogenic. Look at the postcards in the shops-- you can duplicate most of the shots on your own. We saw a harbor seal which was neat for the kids. After that we kept walking down to the harbor to see all of the fishing boats docked. It's a nice walk-- just make sure you wear your raincoat because you will probably get rained on at some point!
