“Creek Street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

Though a routine tourist place with shops selling souvenirs, it is still a pretty place visitors should come especially under cruise ship tour. You may also spent $2 to try the small peak tram ride to uphill for fun. Dolly's House as well as other similar houses are interestint to you.

“A great place to spend some time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2012

The scenery alone is worth checking out. The shops, of course, are many and varied, but not all are the typiclal "t-shirts and trinkets" found in most tourist locations. There are several places to eat which certainly smelled good! The history of Creek Street is posted outside many of the buildings. A fun place to spend some time.

“Worth a Wander”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2012

A fairly accurate although updated version of the red light district that was. Lots of great shops and you can even visit Dolly's House for a view of a house of ill repute.

“Very quaint...worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2012

This is a quaint little boardwalk of shops along a creek. Very pretty. Unfortunately, we were on a cruise and stopped on a rainy day early in the season, so we were too early to see any of the salmon or the wildlife. Imagine that this place is much more worth a visit later in the season.

“Campy Fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

Creek Street is a boadwalk that runs along the creek, and is lined with little shops and of course Dolly's House, home of the infamous Madame of yesteryear. We visited in June when the salmon were NOT running, but I think it would be truly a sight to come later in the summer when the creek is full of salmon! This is a nice tourist area, with some better local shopping opportunities than the streets closer to the docks, which have nothing but international jewelry stores owned by the cruise ship companies or sporting goods stores. My dad was able to walk around Creek Street with a walker and a wheelchair, so it was nice that the area is accessible. It's not a large area, but it's charming. Ketchikan is, in general, a good place to look around for a while but an excursion to Saxman Native Village or similar venue would add a lot to your experience.
