Hi there, We met you on your first excursion and you gave us a tour of the engine room and the bridge afterwards. We want to say thank you very much for putting together such a breathtaking excursion. It far exceeded our expectations as to what we would encounter on that trip. I have many wonderful pictures of all the different types of crab you caught as well as the octopus, eel, starfish and many other "creatures". I am writing from Fredericksburg, Virginia. My husband and I just recently returned from an Alaskan cruise. Alaska is breathtakingly beautiful and we had the trip of a lifetime, but, I have to say that the highlight of my trip was in Ketchikan when my husband and I were walking on the dock and looking at the Aleutian Ballad and then were invited to climb on board! We were not in port on a day when the tour was running (although I might book another cruise just so I can take the tour), but all of the fishermen on board were so friendly and willing to talk. We were given a tour of the awesome vessel and I was totally blown away! I was allowed to purchase a sweatshirt, which I will cherish. David told us stories about how he got started in the fishing industry and we got to meet his lovely wife! And Kiwi even took our picture on deck! Thank you to the fishermen on board the Aleutian Ballad for your kindness and williness to share your "world" with a couple of fans from a "podunk" town in Virginia!
