We were delighted how accessible Crooked Creek Retreat was. It was right on the Sterling Highway. I envisioned it way off the road, but it was very close to the main highway.
This is a new fishing lodge! Beautiful log cabin, everything is new and above average quality. This is a great place to stay and Dorothy ensures everyone has a great time. Dorothy makes guest feel welcomed... and the food was EXCELLENT!!! This is not greasy American food served in many Alaskan restaurants, but great healthy, Alaskan fare.
The rooms are clean and spacious. A very nice treat, even in December. I highly recommend Crooked Creek Retreat.
Fresh eggs from chickens...real Alaskan halibut! Best I've ever eaten and I'm an Alaskan.
