The executive desk staff was curt and unprofessional. The rooms were dirty and lighting inadequate. We had to transport our own luggage, phones were dirty, and alarm clock didn't work. When we asked for corrections, they were sassy and slow to accomodate. We traveled far and with anticipation and will never recommend this place.

Good points: very obliging front of house staff allowed us to check in hours ahead of schedule and change our booking. Central location.
Bad points: rather characterless

First off, this is the only hotel in Juneau that does not offer any sort of shuttle service for the airport or ferries - strike one. The room was small, the heat stayed on even though it was turned off, the room was shabby and the front desk staff were young and unprofessional. All this for the highest priced hotel in Juneau. What a disappointment. Never again.

I am appalled that anyone would choose to stay here a second time. This hotel is not aging gracefully. It is shabby. Upkeep is ignored (paint peeling, holes in the wall in lobby). And, even worse, the room we stayed in was not properly cleaned before our arrival.The staff at the front desk and in the casual restaurant in the lobby were just surly.
And, a word of cauition, this is probably the only hotel in Juneau that does not provide a shuttle to and from the airport and ferry terminal, which are not close.The price per night was outrageous. The only thing to recommend this hotel is the location, which is incredibly noisy. I was on the 7th floor, and still was able to hear conversations on the street below in the middle of the night.If I return to Juneau, I will only stay here if every other accomodation in the area is completely booked.
