Even with the brisk weather we had a great time. Captain Larry was our captain and he did a wonderful job showing off the whales. We had a great time. The crew served fresh homemade salmon spread with some crackers and sausage. YMU.

Admittedly, whale watching involves a lot of waiting...the difference
with Orca Enterprises is that the waiting is nearly as enjoyable as seeing the whales. These guys were never stumped by a question, and we learned so much. The boat isn't overly crowded, and we were served
a nice snack. This is a great company that seems more interested in conservation and the wonder of wildlife than cramming as many tourists as possible into a boat -- highly recommended.
We have gone out twice with Orca Enterprises, piloted by Captain Larry. Both times, we saw whales bubblenetting and breaching. If you're in Juneau, don't miss this one. If I could figure out how to put my pictures on this site, I have some fantastic shots of whales.
June, 2007, while on vacation in Juneau, we went on a whale watching trip with Captain Larry of Orca Enterprises. We saw several whales and had a heck of a good time on our trip. Not the only whale watching tour in town, Captain Larry only takes 30 to 40 people aboard while the other whale watching ships I saw took 3 times more than that. It is alot easier to take photos of whales while manuevering among 40 people than it would be with over a hundred. My wife and I really learned alot about whales and had a grand time with Captain Larry, do yourself a favor and book with Orca Enterprises in Juneau, Alaska.
