“A saloon from the Wild West”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014 via mobile

A very busy authentic saloon from the pictures on the wall to the sawdust on the floor A piano player makes the place . Girls in costume make the saloon complete an experience for all ages the more you look the more you find check out the man being chased by the bear. The staff are very friendly and the beer is good

“A really fun place!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2014

Been to the red Dog Saloon several times over the years, and it remains one of my favorite places to go, when in Juneau. Swinging doors, sawdust floors, and fascinating decor...including years and years of business cards, drivers licenses, etc attached to the walls from years of visitors. Plain and simple, if you are in Juneau, the Red Dog Saloon is a "must stop and enjoy" place to have on your itinerary.

“Cute but touristy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2014

Nice bar and food spot right in the middle of the tourist area off pier 4. If you get tired of the overpriced junk jewelry stores on South Franklin Street, stop in and have a cold one and a snack. The staff is fun, the atmosphere is interesting and as long as you take it as entertainment, you'll enjoy it. The language on menus and store items can be risque for little ones...

“Stop for a beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2014

We were encouraged to stop by and visit by a fellow cruiser. Very rustic with sawdust on the floor and very casual atmosphere. Good servers and we were entertained by a guitar playing country singer who was quite funny
