We stayed at Bear Creek last week and had an absolutely wonderful stay. When you first arrive at the property it's a bit deceiving--you're in a large parking lot with the wine shop to your right. I was worried that the place might be a bit blah. Boy, was I wrong. When you walk around the back of the property to the suites it's as though you are magically transformed to a hidden oasis. Beautiful wood decking leads you down some steps and across a little foot bridge to a lovely room. We stayed in the Artic Suite. When we looked out the windows we felt like we were in a tree house--our view was of a beautiful wooded area. The suite included a mini kitchen, two comfy chairs, a quaint queen bed and a nice bathroom with an over-sized shower.
We enjoyed the split of wine that was in our room while relaxing in the cedar hot tub with a view of the mountains. This was definitely my idea of vacation! Breakfast is simple and is left in your room the night before--muffins, coffee, oatmeal. Perfect for us.
The hostess was extremely friendly as was the winery staff. We spent some time wine tasting and just enjoying the gorgeous scenery.
I would definitely recommend a stay at Bear Creek and hope that someday we can stay there again.
