We were very fortunate to find this charming place to stay!! It was the highlight of our lovely stay in Homer. They say Homer has a special feel to it and that extends to this lodge that made me feel very content and happy.

The owner Dorthy was very warm and welcoming and excited for our stay! As the Lodge is next to her and her husband's cute Winery, she gave us a small bottle of wine from their delicious fruit infused wine selection and a free wine tasting.

The suite was decorated very pleasingly with great attention to detail. The suites are very private and quiet and separated from the small winery by the gardens and the owners' home. The suites have a sitting area and kitchen. Outdoors, each suite has a table, chairs and bbq. The bathroom is first rate with a very large glass shower and bath robes. The rooms are impeccably clean. Microwave popcorn, teas, coffee, muffins and fresh fruit are provided.

There's a view of the mountains and water (visible from the property and a bit visible from the rooms, especially after the fall leaves drop).

As there are only two rooms at the lodge, the large cedar hot tub was very private.

The property is beautifully ornate with ponds, gardens, a fire pit, and horse shoes.

I would definitely return to the Bear Creek Winery and Lodging!! The lodge was very romantic (appealing to both the male and female) and is one of my favorite places I've stayed.
