The services provided for shipping fish are excellent. The cleaning station, freezer, and Fed Ex service are just tops. The hotel maintance employee is most helpful and delightful. We just can't thank you enough for getting our, still frozen, halibut to us within our requested time frame. It was a simple, hassle free process for us and an added work load for you. Such excellent service is certainly appreciated.

Outdated and overpriced, poor customer service. One of the worst hotels I've ever seen. Many other worthwhile places in town. Don't let Best Western ruin a once in a lifetime vacation or influence an otherwise adorable and charming community.

We had the great misfortune of staying here during a sports tournament last year. I made my reservation for December in September. We booked a room with 2 beds and jacuzzi. At the time, Dave, the reservationist seemed great- personable and helpful. I thought for sure we were going to be so happy with our choice! I couldn't have been more disappointed or pizzed off once we arrived. Not only did they not have our room when we arrived, they only had one still open- with only one bed. Dave was there and had zero apology or even an offer to make it up to us in any way whatsoever! What a dump this place is! Hard to believe it can carry the Best Western name! Old and dirty.... the TV didn't work right...probably because there was only one outlet that had five lines going to it.... there was practically no light in the room. Anyway, it's been over a year since our visit from hell.... and it still makes me cringe when I think about it! I've often wondered about when people go off on some of these reviews.... in this case, it makes total sense!
We would have moved to a different place, but the whole town was sold out. Don't waste your money at the BW Bidarka. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!

Local person who booked a room for my parents. Cancelled reservation in accordance with hotel guidelines and was still charged for room. Hotel made me get cell phone bill to prove I made cancellation call.Have stayed at this hotel before. Not bad rooms but not worth the price, or having to deal with the horrible customer service (Especially Francis the front desk lady). Look into B&Bs or cabins instead. They'll cost about the same, but most have better views and significantly more privacy.
