Well as I was travelling to Homer for a stopover enroute to the Alaskan Backcountry I was advised to check out the B+B at Halcyon Heights for the nights I required.
$12 cab fare from the airport and your there being met by Steve and Juxia and of course Jelad the welcoming Sheltie.
Great rooms, excellent showers and the breakfast was fantastic, infact a work of art!
And then you have the local knowledge on offer from your hosts.
Should you arrive in Homer unprepared for what you are planning then look no further than Steve and Juxia who will point you in the direction of everything you can possibly see and do in the town and surrounding areas, infact I wish I had had more time to spend here.
Word of note,if you are flying into Homer look into getting a car hire as you really need a vehicle to get around the area as I found out, infact I`m sure if you ask its something your hosts can look into and advise on for you.
Again great place to stay, and made to feel very welcome and at home, wouldnt hesitate to stay here again in the future!
