We arrived beat and hungry at 2 PM. Wanted to hit the SpitFire Grill fast, but it was closed. We wandered in to El Pescador, next door. It looked like a tourist trap. However, we liked the plates we saw coming from the kitchen. An hour later we had just finished the best meal we had in ten days in Alaska (including Simon's and Glacier Brewhouse). It was a Catalan Seafood Stew, loaded with salmon, halibut, king crab, shellfish, in a saffron-butter sauce. Once in southern France I had something this good, but only once. Wow.
