We travelled to Alaska for the seafood and we got it at Captain Patties Fish House. We had fresh halibut and salmon that was cooked to perfection. We went for the food and not the ambience or scenery and we not disappointed. Pricey, yes, but most seafood is pricey in Alaska. The spit at Homer is not much to look at, but I am guessing that all those fishermen could probably care less. That why one goes to Homer, to fish. We did not fish, but we did sort of like the experience of a seaside town.
