We moved from our Hawaii home in 2002 and, after living 5 years on the Kenai Peninsula, we must tell everyone about The FRESH SOURDOUGH Bakery and Café! The owners, Kevin & Donna Maltz, are fully committed to focusing on organic habits in their operation from ingredient selections for their menu and bakery items, and cleaning and maintaining their facility, to the unique Ah!LASKA brand of quality organic products they have created which make great gift items as well! They have mastered the art of SUPER CARING SERVICE, with an attentive crew that mirrors their values, in a facility that is cozy and inviting and Certified as a Green Restaurant!
Family and friends visit us every year from Hawaii and the lower 48 and we always include "MUST STOP TO EAT at The Fresh SOURDOUGH Bakery and Café in Homer." It doesn’t matter if we stop for breakfast, lunch OR dinner – the meals they serve are ALWAYS tasty and healthy with huge portions! And ~ just as we do . . . our visitors ALWAYS take a piece of The SOURDOUGH Bakery and Café plus Ah!LASKA with them when they leave! TRY IT – YOU’LL BE GLAD YOU DID!
