The food was good. The problem was that despite the fact that their sign said they open at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast, we were left waiting on the porch until 7:30. Someone came to the door at one point to explain that they would be opening late that day (normally I wouldn't care much, but we had to be somewhere by 8:15 and we had counted on getting an early start). Of course, what happened was that all of the people who arrived between 7:00 and 7:30 were seated at the same time, resulting in very slow service. Too bad. We enjoyed the breakfast, but we made sure we found someplace else to eat the next day.

The best French toast I have ever had. It was simply delicious. The owners were super friendly and took time to come chat with us. The service was good, the atmosphere was great, and the food was awesome. Also try the black bean soup for dinner. Homemade and soooo good.

I'm a local and I've never had good service at Sourdough, and the food is just OK.

Sourdough Express was a great stop for breakfast. The service was good and the food fab! It seemed to be a friendly family restaurant with a homey menu. Kudos to the owners!
